    fall-away rests

The way I look at whisker bisquits is that you have constant drag along the arrow and if the fletching does not go through the same spot it will not fly the same. I like the fall-aways alot more because the fletchings never touch the rest so it does not impare flight. And I have witnessed this first hand. Eventually, the whiskers will start to fray, and that will severly change how the arrows fly!

    Coues Buck Contest

Amanda, what ever you all decide is fine with me but I want to hear from firstcoueswas80. He has always had an opinion on most subjects and I want to hear what he has to say. Really, I'm serious! TJ Amanda is not going to add a (How many pieces can you blow the skull plate into contest) Mike, I would have that one tied down wouldnt I! How about a "who misses their goal of a buck by the most" lets see, I killed a low 90's type buck, when I was going for a 100+, and then killed a 45-50" buck while aiming for a 100".. lets see, I missed by about an average 30 inches ( if my math is right) How about "most shots to kill their deer" got that one in the bag too! Heres the thing about having people vote (TJ here comes my opnion) It will be like highschool... a popularity contest... Jimbo has that one in the bag, even if he killed a 80" buck. I think what ever is done, the more prizes that are given out the better! however, I also think that if there are going to be BIG prizes given out ( $1,000 in optics based strictly on score) that the bucks in the top running need to be scored by an "official". I AM NOT ACCUSING ANYONE OF CHEATING, SO THAT CAN BE SQUASHED RIGHT NOW!

    Long range rifles?

The triggers are what cost ya, there I believe about 125 or so ( not sure, havent bought a trigger in a while) look on ebay. I dont know what installiation would cost ya
  12. Nice Doug, way to make the contest so you can win something! Its kinda like how the smallest buck idea came to play AFER I killed the worlds smallest spike! I like all the ideas, any way to get more people involved, and give away prizes. ( I hope I dont get flamed for this) On the other hand, I think there should be some sort of minimum post rule... Lots of people join the site to throw their hat into the fire and try to win something free, but dont make a single post here. By all means, we need as many people to join as possible, it just seems we have a ton of people who join SOLELY for the purpose of trying to win something, who dont add anything to the site... Does any one at all agree with me?

    Rem. 700 or Winchester 70

That is one of the best guns ever made! I have one of them, and it was my grandfathers and it shoots just as well as my custom 270 wsm!

    New To Me

I would for sure send that trigger back also! try a timney! And how did you only get 3150 from the 110 accubond? Was it a VERY light load? I get the same speed from my 270 wsm with a 140 accubond. dont give up on those accubonds, they are great bullets, and toat a much higher BC than the TSX.

Look at the Nikon Field scope spotter. 2 years ago, I guided the owner of 23hourcampfire.com and he had every freakin optic known to man! ( he had swaro, leica, zeiss and this nikon spotter which was just a prototype) so of course in the middle of the day we set them up. I knew where some does would bed every day and sure enough, they were there and we put all the spotters right on them. I tell ya, this nikon hung with the swaro, leica and zeiss soptters! The thing is freakin light as all get out, and super tiny but the quality of glass is amazing! http://www.cameralandny.com/optics/nikon.pl?page=nikon8320 this is the one that he had, and I have not looked through the others.

    gonna start reloading

What I did was take one sheet of 1/2" OSB and cut it into 3 identical sections. I then glued and screwed those sheets together. After that I took 2x4's and made posts out of them and scrwed then into the concrete floor. works awesome!

Remeber what Tony (outdoor writer) said about odor control not to long ago? What about the law suit against Scent lok? IN MY OPNION, scent control clothing isnt worth the money! Take that money and by some quality hunting bullets!

    Taxidermist Help

Coyotes are tricky. I am yet to see one that I have liked. I think it has been more the "pose" chosen than the taxidermy work.
