Plenty of people get fined every year for shooting doves, squirrels, rabbits, quail, etc too close to buildings and across roads. If the guy didn't break any laws, then he should absolutely get the bull. If not, then he should be treated like everyone else. Yep, thats pretty much exactly what i was sayin!

The only problem with putting it to rest, is IF it was taken to close to a house then it WAS illegal... and IF they let this one go, how are they going to handle THE REST of the law breakers in az? weather they knew it or not, if they were to close they broke the law and they cant just let them go because of who the guides were, or who the hunter was or what tag he had. thats just not fair/right/ethical. you are correct though, if it was a rabbit or a dove... heck possibly even a cow elk or maybe a small bull it would not be made into such a huge ordeal. personally, i think if they broke the law they broke the law. no ifs, ands, or buts about it. There needs to be consequences for the actions. It's not right just to let them off of the hook because of who the guides are, or how much money the guy spent on the tag. Its like when Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Nichole Riche et al break the DUI law they get a slap on the wrist. If I got a DUI, I would get the max, AND THEN get KILLED when i got home. its not the right way to hanlde it.

correct me if im wrong, but a gun shop owner in flagstaff explianed the under 21 year old law as you are only allowed to transport ahandgun under the age of 21 to and from the shooting range.?? is that correct? When i was under 21 i still carried my sidearm as i was not about to let anything happen just because i was not 21!
