i looked over the wac ems today on cabelas sight, i do think they are good looking broadheads. cut on contact head, all reports say they fly true, wide blades. they look interesting and i think i may have to give them a try!

well ya cant expect a fixed blade broadhead to fly the same as field tips, just aint gonna happen. the muzzy 3 blades shot well out of my bow as they had the same basic POI. also, did ya spin test em? i have never shot the montecs, but a good buddy does and he likes em.

check out the Muzzy MX-3 and 4 as well as the Montec G5, it is one piece design, so no blades to break off.

guys, i didnt post this topic to start a huge debate, just posted it to say ouch! no wonder im so dang broke! either way, gas can be cheaper, but some peopl are too greedy to give us a break, fact of the matter is they charge what they can get, not what they have to! I heard on the radio once that a CEO of Chevron was asked if to lower the price of gas across the nation he would give up one months salary.... he said no. he was then asked if he would give up ONE DAYS SALARY and he still said NO!!! now, this guy makes more in one day then most of us make in a entire year! if thats not greed, i dont know what is!

Among the lines of some of the topic Doug posts, what is your favorite part of the hunt? of course the squeezing the trigger is up there, but my absoluete favorite part is after a hard day of hunting, sitting around the campfire with a full belly and a cocktail in hand sitting aroound telling stories. One guy i used to hunt with especially, he has hunted many many many places, and has killed sme very nice bucks. he has some great stories and i love talking to them, no matter how many times i have heard them. being out there with my dad, both of us behind our binoculars BS'in on the hill side for hours on end is what i love to do! i love spending time with my pops and hunting. weather or not we harvest doesnt matter (well, to me it kinda is) but if dad and i have a good time with each other, i am happy! we have some really in depth conversations about life, love, school, things we dont normally talk about and i really love that! what about you guys? i imagine most of you will say about the same thing and thats good!

John! i totally agree! no matter what i am hunting, from dove, quail, on up to elk anything that looks like an animal my mind makes into an animal! very good point!

the best bow i have ever shot is a mathews LX.i own a Q2 and love it, but a good buddy owns and LX and i love thatthing!
