i have always read about 1000 lbs is what ya want.... if i recall, most modern calibers were 100-200 lbs over that at 500 yards. -
I use Sweets as well. when i do use the sweets ESPECIALLY with my kimber 22-250, i put a shirt over the but stock cause if that stuff gets on the wood it will strip the finish right off! trust me! happened to Doug and I when we were breaking in the barrel of my 22-250! one thing to remember, you dont want to leave the copper remover in too long or it will take ur barrel down to bare metal which will change your point of impact. ususally, i will run butches bore shine for powder and such, then sweets for copper fouling. after i have cleaned all or most of the sweets out with dry patches, i will run a few patches soaked with Hoppe's to neutralize the stuff so it doesnt do any damage to my barrel.

140 accubond movin at 3150 FPS sure puts the hammer down on em! i can push the accubond to nearly 3300, but shows pressure signs with excellant accuracy so i backed it down. puts the hurtin on em and gets em killed! -

i do believe a .223 is legal, but marginal in my opnion. i like having room for error or any shot oppurtunity that is less than stellar. -
Grim, Id take that LX off your hands... you can have my Q2 in exchange! , you too AzPacknHorns!

Im in! and at 2.97 a gallon, takes me about $65-75 to fill up! OUCH!!

i believe (not sure so dont quote me) that the minimum is any .22 centerfire or larger. to me that means 22-250 in perfect condtions. got a buddy whos wife killed a 116 4/8 brusier with a 22-250 shot to the neck. personally, i wouldnt hunt with anything less than a 243. would prefer or 25-06, 270 or...my personal chouce 270wsm! dads 7RUM can reach out there and drop the hammer also! biggest ive seen anyone carry is a 300 RUM.... dang near seperated that buck from the neck/shoulder joint in two! deer didnt go far though! (like 6 inches!) -
my dog would want to play with it! he likes doin that stuff! believe it or not, my dog likes cats, ferrets, rabbits, rats!he plays with em!
