I did at one time keep a log of every deer i glassed up, what time it was, what side of the hill they were on, the weather, what they were doing, how many of them there were and how far away i was. i have since stopped doing that, i just find a nice bid ole fork and go kill 'em!
-
just cause ur on the way over the hill dont mean we (I) can let it slide whats the case capacity of the 6.5 wsm compared to the 270wsm? i shoot 63.5 grains of H4831sc (as you know) what can ya fit in that case? i imagine its about the as my rifle right? speeds of that 6.5 are pretty impressive!
-
The case is a 300 WSM necked down to 6.5 mm. Doug, arent you using .270WSM brass necked down?
-
Saw it last night before the scope went on and it sure is a pretty rifle. and i know Doug will get that thing to shoot pee size groups as he always does! now, to draw a antelope tag!

the pictures do not do this shed justice, its pretty nice!

i somewhat disagree.this year in november, my dad and i glassed up 3 bucks in the bottom... we saw them 3 days a row in the same place. i messed up and should have been set up on the second day in a place where i could take a shot. two of the bucks were very nice! 90+ the other was a 65-70" fork that i had a 308yards... if it wasnt opening morning, i would have taken the buck but i passed

to me, there is enough of a challenge to harvest a nice buck that i want to stack the odds in my favor, with as little adversary as possible. -
gamehauler, that i think is them i would rather go with them then the SLC's since there going to be used for such close up you dont need perfect edge to edge clarity.
