Simply put, (which I've tried) Killing the baby makers does not equal more bucks. Reducing the amount of bucks killed, makes more bucks.

Like I said in my previous post, the immediate reaction is something I feel we all can get on board with. However, the biology is the complete opposite. If you're not seeing enough bucks, its because too many are getting killed in that area. (or they are just better at hiding). The biology states that bucks and does are born at a 1:1 ratio, however does are not hunted in mass numbers like bucks are, therefore what we all see more of. Same goes for most species of animals.

Sure wish I had a 50:1 ratio in single life!

I 100% understand the sentiment behind this. I have, multiple times said " I swear I am going to shoot the next doe I see, if I dont see a buck first" (of course that is just hyperbole). But the biology isnt there. More does = more bucks. The answer is fewer tags, plain and simple.
