Don't get scammed -
He was a good boy, but Scooch is as well and she loves hunting.

Airedale. She's on page 2.
-
I wanted an Airedale forever. Got one, named him Zane after my grandpa (grandpa's middle name). At a year and a half he got out when I was at work and got hit by a car. Digging the hole sucked, but I got my girl Scooch soon after and she's awesome. My mom loves her, and she's a bird retrieving machine and loves patrolling our acre.

The adrenaline dump on something like that would be insane.
-
Solid word. How long did it take for the wife to tell you how to spell it?
-
I have Cooper Discoverers on my 07 5.9 and I despise them. I haven't bought a tire in years, as they keep coming apart (tread separation) and getting screws/nails. If they were more expensive than just buying certificates at discount, they long would be gone. I have Mickey Thompson Bajas on my 94 toyota and I love them. There is a little bit of noise on the highway, but they work very well off road.
-
We mainly use the bfgs on our work trucks and to say we spend a little bit of time on dirt roads is an understatement. They're expensive but they do seem to hold up pretty well.

Other than haters, most of us agree that side by sides are extremely useful for hunting, offroading etc. However, in my opinion, the biggest draw back is the dust. Not necessarily for myself or passengers, as we can layer up, use goggles and shower. But, the gear in the bed gets absolutely covered in dust. Has anyone used anything that actually works for dust protection? I've heard of guys using duffle bags, but those things would have to be massive to hold the average hunting pack filled with day supplies, spotting scope, tripod, let alone multiple bags.

Price?
-
These things are sweet. Highly underrated. Nimble because they are smaller, and plenty of power.
-
It ain't free, so he ain't interested JJ!
-
I'm pretty fond of this one. She's a great companion, and loves to hunt.
-
I think you will find you want more power than 6x. Mybar has a 3.5-10, but a 4.5-14 is great as well.

Mines an old rzr that I feel like I got a decent price on, paired with a fair heavy duty trailer. Suspension revalving and a stage 2 spring kit installed and it's been awesome. I had a bull elk, 5 dudes and all our stuff in it last late season and it worked like a charm. Plus, the older ones actually have some bed space and are significantly smaller than the new ones. Pair that with the ability to run 60 mph, it's a pretty sweet rig.

Man, growing up my grandpa had a sweet bug. For some reason, it got sold as he got older, which was weird he never sold anything and all of us grandkids loved that. The guy who bought it ran it out of oil and blew it up like a month later
-
I've got a 15k 94 🤣
-
Exactly. A 4runner or sequoia would take 10-15k in suspension to make it ride like a rzr. Cold, I put a carhartt on as an outer layer she gloves. Dust sucks, but goggles protect the eyes, and a dusty pack isn't the end of the world. Protecting the vehicles not meant for offroading is worth it as well as the smooth ride, and the speed of arriving to the spot. Not that 20-30 minutes is a huge deal. But an hour a day over 5-10 days really adds up.
-
I have a rzr, no room for a container like that.
-
I've tried that before and although it definitely cut down on the amount of dust, stuff still got Dusty

Some of you guys (you and Devan mainly) make turkey hunting look so easy! It kicks my but every year, but i love it.
-
I've got 3, straight run in tucson. About 3 weeks old $25
-
I had the same truck, but a 97, lifted in college. The girls loved it, and I loved that. It was a gutless wonder with the lift. Felt like it needed a gear reduction.

Don't overlook a Remingtong Versamax. I love mine and I've shot probably 400-500 rounds the last couple yeats duck, dove, and pigeon hunting.
