In all actuality, we like mule deer to. Granted, not nearly as much as coues. but we like em! Nicely done! way to get all you could out of your 2006 tag!

Can you make that forkie into a toad? In all seriousness, this year I will be picky. I will not shoot anything under 100" until the last couple days of the hunt. After that, 90+ goes down! My main concern is getting dad the buck that he wants, then I will be off to hunt for my self. Im not even carrying my gun really. It will be in the scabbard of my backpack until I see a buck worth of getting a 140 accubond shot in his general direction a couple times. and god help me if a big buck takes me more than one shot (which we all know it will) after the first shot is when i REALLY get the shakes going!

I am the same way! I have 13 days off to hunt in December, then I go to Mexico in Jan. to hopefully tag 100"er #2 in 2 months!

Please tell me she is not going after a spike with that tag! with the toads that are being killed in that unit, that is probably the best whitetail tag to have in the state! hold out for some 90+ bucks, as it shouldnt be too tough!

124? good god man, do you do anything besides that? I have been fortunate enough to spend the most that I have ever spent in the field this year. I believe i am around 30 right now, and will have 13 more (if i have to hunt every day of the December hunt) before the season is over.
