Mike, a hot load doesnt really make that much difference, especially if it is a unsafe load, and/or un accurate. you may gain about 100 FPS or so which, when shooting a 140 grain bullet isnt that much more "umph"

    Scouting from 36b

First pic, lone buck... long ways off!! Second pic: one bedded buck, one feeding... the feeding buck laid down about 45 seconds after the pic to.. it was 6:58 am third, fourth, and fifth pics are of bucks we glassed up at about 350 yards.. little boys... decent mass on the bases, but only about 3 or 4 inches long.. one of them had a tiny split in his tops.. everything sure greened up out there!

Does anyone us a 22-250 for Coues

it will do but i personally cant see justifying shooting the smallest gun when you could get a 243 or a 270 and be good to go!

  24. I do see your concern about the people who might have the physical limitations. It does suck that they might not be able to hunt the wilderness areas....but I think in general it would be better in the long run. I do agree with you that a majority road hunt the kiabab and that there is not a significant amount of deer taking....does anyone know what the average harvest for deer on the archery kiabab hunt? anyways, If they added some more archery hunts for deer i.e like DB said... late kiabab archery hunt or a early or late archery strip hunt. I do not see any harm in that. It is probably inevitable that archery will go to draw we will have to make the best of it. I would say if archery deer hunts do go to a draw system then I would hope they would do the draw by regions instead of particular units. Thats about the most logical statement i have read anywhere for a while. that is a EXCELLANT idea!
