Does anyone in here know the name Terry or Michelle Ragsdale?? they both were world champion archers and worked at the PSE in Tucson, i grew up with their son and daughter and when my dad and i were looking for a compound for me, we went to Terry and he set me up with a PSE nova, nothing wrong with that bow, for the time it was it was a good bow, no cams or anything so it is ouf of date now and heck, i probabaly havent shot it in 2-3 years!!! i did carry it on a Javelina hunt, but once i saw how many illegals there was in the area, i realzed that if i was gonna get a shot at a pig, i was gonna use my rifle and make it count!! we ended up not seeing a single pig that hunt!!! it sucked, did see a group of 87 illegals( we counted) and 1 90+ coues buck

scott, as i have told ya i have never hunted over dogs, but am looking forward to our appointement for this december. that should be a heck of a time and i would love to do that it sure as heck seems like its a bunch of fun!

Diablo, you go to NAU also? what are you studying? what year are you?as to the road by the forestry building and traffic tomorrow, i wont know, no classes for me. i am planning on taking out my 30-06 and the 270 and going shooting. if your intrested in going give me a call or juet meeting up to talk coues. 523-2830

it did it, today it snowed in flagstaff, az and it actually stuck to the ground, has been going for about an hour now

let me tell you guys a little bit about this area, this is where i shot my small buck last year. on that first ridge that can be seen, i glassed up about a 70-75 inch buck during the december hunt that had his nose to the ground chasing a few does. when i glassed up the first deer of the day on the mountian, my heart started to race and i started to get a little shakey. i guess the adrenaline was flowing!!! imagine how im going to feel this november when i finally glass up a buck and i have a tag in my pocket and a rifle on my shoulder!!!

this is my first attempt at posting pictures. this is the mountain/area that we hunt sometimes. the second picture is the area at 6:18 am, taken by a camera phone with no zoom. the first picture is the same area with 4x zoom, with a color scheme added to it. i glassed up all 6 deer on that mountain, can anyone see them

ill run it by my old man, he might not go for it because we camp way back in there, off of universal ranch road, but ill run it by him see what he says. it is a great idea though, whos picking up the tab???

wow what a good dog, he lost his !$$@! for his master! i know my rottweiler would have done that! he was a big ole boy, 120 pounds of solid muscle!

my dad and i are going to go to the range down here in tucson sunday. it is a new range, way down south off of Harrison, pretty sweet set up. were either doing that, or going scouting in the place where i shot my first deer, or going sighting in.

back in the day(when dirt was being created), one of my dads buddies shot a deer and didnt go up to it and poke it, he just went up to it and started to pick up the rack, the deer then got up and started trying to fight him so the guy tried to break his neck! once he got his arse kicked, he ended up just shooting the thing agian.

thays weird thats the same scope that i have on my rifle, do you have the stainless? my dad and i will probably be hunting near tank, it is a really big area and that is where i shot my first deer. every time that we go there we see some bucks so i think that were going to spend (depending obviously) about 5 days hunting there. are other spot is a place called, thats where i shot my deer last year.
Those 7mm ultra mags are sweet guns! my dad has the RMEF edition 700 bdl.they have bery impressive ballastics, but the ammo is expensive.
I drive a 1988 ford f-150, white with a blue camper shell, as i stated earlier, there will be two 130" bucks hangin in a tree, stop on by and say hello, theres always cold beer.

couesstalker, what kind of scopd did you mount a-top that bauty? how is it shoting for you? my same gun in 30-06 seems to like the 165 and 180 grain bullets over the faster, lighter 125and 150 grainers.

is anyone wanting to or going to be scouting in 36b this coming weekend? i will be down there this coming weekend chceking out some of the country we know, and possibly some stuff we have never hunted before. wanna hook up let me know.this is the second time i have came home this year and one of the only times i will have to scout.

i have a old 721 in 270 also. it has been in the safe for a while, this year it is wearing a new scope and will get to be the back up gun, this gun has some ral character to it, has a nice scratch from when my grandpa had in on a moose hunt in i dont remember where but he had it right next to his leg and a bear came in camp and scared the horses. the horses hoof laid about a 6-7" cut in the stock instead of my grandpas leg, this gun is my favorite gun that we own, and is irrplacable to my father and i.

i think they may have been triplets, i shot my first one in 02 that looked exactly like that, whats the gross? i say about 84, 85, mine grossed 84

heck yeah im down. that way i could brag to other hunters that i shot a coues and its in "the book" how are thet gonna now if its B&C 110"+ or the coueswitetail.com book where anything gfrom 5"-150" can be in it!!!

AMEN TO THAT!!!! man im sittin here at NAU and im going insane!!!! i have my 30-06 and the 270 checked in the police station and i have my alpens up here and by back is itchin like none other but i have no way to scratch it!!!!!!! not till nov. 10, when i leave here fro tucson, then to arivaca to shoot a 112 3/8 and glass up a 115 7/8 for my ole man, hows that sound?

I dont know if what im going to tell you is what your looking for, but i bought a Springfield arms xd-40 from gunbroker.com for $400(retail is 499) and I LOVE THIS GUN!!!!! i got the od green color, and it has some sort of grip on it with finger grooves and it fits mn hand perfect! i have shot about 600 round sthrough it and the only time it jammed was on the 300th shot of the day with no cleaning during the shoting time. it is very very accurate and fits my hand perfect. the thing that is awesome of the gun is that springfield arms also make a sub compact model, and the service model and the sub compact model both use the same magizines. the gun comes in a hard carrying case with 2 magazines. i love mine and next to my couse killer, and the 30-30 i inherited when my grandfather passed(sentimental value) it is my favorite guin and, for a 19 year old i have quite a few. they come in .9mm, .10 mm, .40 S&W, .357 sig i have the .40 and boxes of 100 can be bought at wally world for about 20$
