Im brand new to Javelina hunting myself so I cant contribute too much with the exception is that there are a TON of people in jeeps and side by sides running all over that area behind Saguaro Lake. I would do my best to steer clear. Although, I havent had boots on the ground to scout for Javelina in that area I have been back there more than a few times off-roading to my favorite bass fishing spots and its always crowded.

We saw two boot tracks in this particular wash with no other signs of people being there before us. Wouldnt that be something if it was the same spot? LMAO

I’m going to go back out in the same spot on Sunday morning like PRDATR suggested after the rain and see what’s up. I’ll also be sure the “clean” a small section out to see if they still run the wash currently.

Its strictly in the liver. All other organs and meat all appear normal. Im going to fry it up today in the old cast iron for lunch today. If I dont check in within 30 days its not safe to eat LOL

I listen to his podcasts religiously every Monday lol. Tularemia subject starts around 10 minute mark on that podcast. They confirm it cools off starting at 140 degrees but 160 to be safe. I just wasn’t sure about the spots on the liver as some say it’s common but make sure it’s cooked throughly to those who will throw them out to be safe. Which I’m leaning towards not eating it.
