The Sony P-41 digital has lighning fast shutter speed. You can get them on ebay for around $140.00 Most of my homebrew digital trailcam setups use a sony p-41, and for that reason. Here is a pic to prove my point..

I was not impressed at all by bass Pro's treestand and archery selection. I also don't like the fact that the whole front part of the store is clothes. I'll stick with Sportsmans and Cabelas.

8.5-brighter, larger field of view, more stable. lighter, less expensive. The 10's would be fine too, but why pay the extra money when 8.5's are better?

Does anyone know if this ranch produces? thx!

That is a very very very BIG buck. And he still has a little ways to go. I'd say you are looking at a 108-112" buck when he's done growing. His G3's and main beams still have a little ways to go. What kind of a vehicle do you drive?

I was thinking the same thing. -
I agree the scentlock is a waste of money. I do however, wash my camo clothes in non-uv brightener soap, wash myself with wildlife research soap, and use non-scented deodorant. I'm sure the coues can still smell me but the scent won't be as strong and they may be less spooked. I also think these manufactured scent elimination products may help hunters psychologically. Yes, keeping the wind in your favor is by far the most important. But why not go to a bit of extra effort to keep your scent down so perhaps a deer's instinct may tell it a human may have been here hours ago, but is not here anymore. If the wind is going to swirl on you, then be prepared. I believe the stuff works to some degree. I also believe less scent is better than cover scent.

2007 Coues Contest
TREESTANDMAN replied to Red Rabbit's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Last year I was pumped to win this contest and I fall out of a tree 3 days before the hunt and I'm laid up for the dec/jan hunt. This year I'm thinking I'm gonna win for sure and then I draw a LATE KIABAB RIFLE TAG! Man do I have some bad luck or what!! Good luck to everyone on the coues competition. I'll have to pass this year. -

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing Bruce. -
AZ Guide, The dealership actually found 2 of them ducktaped to the bottom of my truck. I wasn't sure which one was yours so I just said the dealership could keep them. I ended up getting a double cab tacoma with the longer bed. I'm having some custom stuff done so I should actually get my truck on monday. Financially, it was the stupidest move I've ever made....But, it is a heck of a nice truck!!!! Had to celebrate my late Kiabab tag somehow! Mike

I ended up trading it in thx.

WOW!!!! What a monster of a shed! Have you scored it yet? I'm curious to know what he scores. I'm thinking with a matching side that bull very well may go 400"? Well I hope you draw a tag in that unit soon. Hopefully you can get some pics of him as well! Thanks for sharing, Mike
