Nikon 80mm Angled Sky and Earth 20-60* eyepiece
TREESTANDMAN replied to TREESTANDMAN's topic in Classified Ads
Sure Ilene, I guess I was a little vague. It is a new Nikon Sky and Earth 80mm Spotting scope with the 20-60 power eyepiece I purchased From Cameraland in Nov of 2006. I used it only once on my New Mexico Whitetail hunt and it remains in brand new condition. No scratches or blemishes. It comes with a soft padded case that doesnt have to be taken off while using, you can just screw it onto you tripod. Very quick and easy. The only reason I'm selling it is because it is a little bigger than I'd like and I need to cut down the weight in my pack. I have the 25 year warranty and instructions it came with. Here is a link with some reviews: http://nikon.binoculars.com/products/nikon...epiece-227.html And here are some pics I just took... I'm dropping the price again to $275.00. Pm me with any questions or if you'd like to take a look at it. -

I used to trap squirrels in our backyard w/ live traps and feed them to my 6ft gopher snake. They weren't tame like yours, Gino. -
Nice find! Looks like the main beam has some good mass.

Something you might find while shed hunting
TREESTANDMAN replied to COOSEFAN's topic in Shed Hunting
Looks like that one was getting ready to shed. I've seen many rattlers and other snakes in my day. I used to breed snakes as as hobby and go out snake hunting almost every saturday before I got into the coues addiction. One night my buddies and I saw about 30 different rattlers and 10-15 (non-rattlers all on the road). If you go out to certain roads close to rivers or lakes on a humid cloudy night when the temp is around 80 degrees you can get some really good snake action! -

Sorry Flagcoueskiller, I'll file bankruptcy before I'd sell my 15*'s Come on guys, those that drew an elk or antelope tags!! The swarov 10*42 are the perfect elk spotting glass!! This spotting scope will help you evaluate that lope rack. -

Ok, I'm dropping the swarov price down to $900.00 -
I'd guess around 83-86".

Jascald, Although the tripler may seem like a really good idea I would keep your guard up. I've never tried the tripler that is offered on this website but I have tried the swarovski doubler and it is practically worthless. Yes it is very light and convenient but you can't see anything looking through it, the view is dark and unclear. I've read that the tripler offered on this website is better than the swarov doubler but it better be a whole lot better for me to consider it. I'd like to try it out one of these days.

No way Scott, Just trying to pay for physical therepy. 3 times/ week at $30 co-pay for several months aint cheap!!! I'm keeping my 15*'s and have some 10* nikons I can use if these swarov's sell. -
I just posted my swarovs for sale in the classified section. Check it out, it is a good deal. Mike

I would recommend one of 2 options. 1. Buy the swarov 15*56's for tripod binos and buy nikon monarch neck binos either 8*42 or 10*42. Use your crappy bushells for thick brush scouting only. 2. Buy the swarov 10*50 for neck/tripod glasses the 50's are quite a bit brighter then the 10*42's and they aren't too heavy. I'm not sure about the Leica Duvoids, never tried them.

2 practically new wildview digital scouting cameras for sale (purchased Nov of "06). Both work fine. I will include the two 256 mb memory cards I purchased for them as well. $90 for the package (2 cameras and 2 memory cards) or $50 each (1 camera and 1 memory card). Memory cards are valued at about $15. It uses 4 C batteries and wil take over 1000 pics. The picture quality is not that great but it is good enough to make out details of tine length etc. if within a reasonable range. The flash is practically worthless. The animal has to be within 15 ft or so to be seen at night. The camera does not stamp time or day. Here is a link to the camera. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...w&noImage=0 Advantages 1. Extremely easy to use 2. Inexpensive 3. Lots of pics 4. Very small which makes it hard to be seen by others Disadvantages 1. Not great picture quality 2. Poor flash capability (15 ft) 3. no time or day stamp I'm selling them because I already have too many homebrew high quality trail cams. Pm me if interested. I live in Mesa.
