Here is my little 90" buck

That was also by far the coolest hunting experience of my life!! I am now so glad I did not sell my Mexico coues tag after all!!! Due to finances I did not think it would be wise to schedule another trip and so I decided to break my original goal of taking a 100" buck and took a young 90" buck on the night of the 2nd day of our hunt. It is a very young buck we believe due to a lack of mass however he had a lot of potential of becoming a GIANT as you will see in the pictures I will post soon. What an incredible hunt that was!! Congrats to Gail on a really good buck and a big thank you to Gail as well for cooking up some of the best camp food I've ever had!!!! Josh knows how to pick his hunting partners!! Mike

I have for sale a Knight .50 Caliber Muzzleloader that hasn't been used but a couple of times. I really don't know what to ask for it so I guess I will start it out at $325.00 OBO? I have been a Mortgage Loan Officer more many years and frequently talk with people that are upside down on their homes. Gut them and skin them right away. Don't get any of the stinky gland on the top of the hind quarters on the meat. I've had 6 different pigs and only one was disgusting like you guys mention. I've always wanted to smoke one but I usually grill them like deer steaks. You can also marinate them in barbque sauce and grill them. I'm telling you guys they are really good when field dressed right!! My guess is that most people have a preconceived notion that they taste bad and don't take care of them in the field. Mike

It doesn't look like muzzleloaders are all that popular among coueswhitetail members. I know that in the way of advertisement the encore has really been showing up on every commercial as the once #1 Knight use to. They have gone out of business or so I've heard. I'm dropping the price again to $300 on the muzzleloader. thx, Mike

Dude, That is a bittersweet find!!! Personally I like finding sheds like that way more than finding kills just so I can get trail cam pics and strategize how I will take him. Great looking buck for sure!! To me he looks like he'd go just over 100"... Not that wide, a little thin horned, and short eyeguards but awesome lengths on the tines!!! He is one of those real deceiving bucks. I'm sure he did spread the genes during the past few years!! I need to get me one of them Grong Orange shirts!!! Mike

Looks like it was a little spike buck probably just trying to find a smaller sparring companion. Getting attacked by a big coues buck is one of my fantasies.

I've been waiting for something like this!!

Brent, The bow is a BROWNING Micro Adrenaline my wife has used. It is around 4 yrs old. It is very adjustable with regards to draw length and draw weight. Even though the weight says 40-50#'s, it can actually be set as low as 25-50 lbs. My wife shoots really good groups at 20-30 yds however because the poundage is not that high, anything past 30 yds has a pretty large arch. She shoots it at around 35 lbs to practice. Comes with arrows and I'll throw in her release as well. thx, Mike

300 Ultra, I couldn't walk after that hunt with all the blisters on my feet. I didn't expect to be walkin 12miles a day. It was my fault for wearing my fairly new Danners. Tony, I ended up taking a 317" bull the 2nd to last day of the hunt. Mike
