Guess when certain people get backed into a corner they will start talking shoot to the only girl in the crowd. I'm glad you dont like my dogs. I wouldnt sell a dog to you if I was starving to death. I dont breed my dogs for other people. I raise litters for myself and sell the leftovers. Pretty good at it too. Been running the same bloodlines my whole life and my dad ran it before me. If I never sold another dog again I'd be fine cuz 9/10 people I sell dogs to are too stupid to realize what they have. Saw lots of real nice bulls. One was easy 400+ but he was smart and wasnt staying in one spot. Never saw another hunter where we hunted the whole hunt and I hunted the same spot from opening day to the last day. It was my second archery hunt ever, first was antelope the month before (I got very lucky last year with tags). I missed two bulls, ruined 2 pairs of boots, and found 3 horns and a dead head. I learned a lot chasing them with my bow. Saw a really sweet freak antelope buck and an absolute giant heavy goat there too. One of the bulls I should have hit was a nice heavy 5x5, he was the smallest bull we saw on the entire hunt. I will most definitely put in for that hunt again but I spend prolly 250 days a year in unit 1 so it's not an out of the way place for me. I dont believe the quality of bulls has dropped there, I think when there 250 hunters by Big Lake and 48 on the 96 rd I can see how people say the hunts not very good. But I will definitely put in for that hunt again.

As a resident last year I drew the archery bull tag for unit 1 with 6 points. So it is possible to get it with less then 11

The horses in 3C are completely out of control. I've seen them where they look like they are starving to death. Found one two years ago bear hunting that had claw Mark's down its butt from either a bear or a lion. Bad infection, skinny, barely able to walk. Up in 1 over by the 582 road last year saw about 20 of them with babies and about 6 coyotes trying to snatch a baby. They are even making their way into 1 and 3b (I think they have been in there more then people think but starting to see more and more of them. And more often sightings). 3 road, vernon McNary rd, lake mountain, 96 rd. 3c is infested with them. And yes, lions will most definitely kill horses and eat on them. And given the chance theres nothing a bear loves more then horse meat. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am not saying that is how it happens every time with every pro staff, but it does happen. I'm sure other guides have seen it themselves. It isnt really a new thing but now there are more pro staffs and more companies and more of a calling for people posting lots of pics with a certain bow or product there. It makes a lot of sense when you think about personal preference. The company and followers dont know any different because they see the pics and read the story and they dont know any different. But it probably happens a lot more then people think. It's not really that big of a deal. But it does happen.

If everyone can keep their eyes out for a dear friend of mine we would all appreciate it. S&R and everyone that has looked today found no trace of him. No tire tracks, the pickup, nothing. He didnt have the Hounds with him so we dont know if he had any GPS collars with him that may help in finding him. I dont know if there is any members from that country but we are trying everything we can to bring John home safe. Thank you. I will try and update the best I can but if anyone thinks of anything or can help let me know.

So heres what we found out since some have asked. John was out running roads and got his truck stuck. He just hung out in the truck till daylight then started making his way down the mountain to cell service so he could let everyone know he was ok. Family members found him while out searching and he was ok. He had plenty of food and water and stuff in his truck. So that's a good lesson for everyone. But a good lesson for everyone to learn: tell someone where you're going and stick to that travel plan. Give SNR a starting point. No one knows when it could be our last hunt, make it easier to bring you home if nothing else. We are all glad he is home safe. Snow cat had to take him up and they got the Tacoma out. Rumor has it hes going to soupe it up a bit to try and prevent it again haha.

I've seen it too many times to believe that anyone really shoots what they say they do. No joke watch someone pack a Mathews and a PSE into the tree, shoot with the PSE but take pics with a Mathews hat on and the Mathews bow. It's pretty sad actually. But it's a money thing and the company doing so doesnt really care if it's true or not cuz hunting isnt about hunting anymore. It's about attention, likes, and awesome stories and staged pics. I really dont believe one bow is better then the next. Just like pickups, Dodge people will never accept that a Ford may be just as good. But if you give a Dodge guy a brand new Ford every year along with free gas and his own podcast, hes prolly gonna pretend that Ford is the best truck on the planet. I've shot a Hoyt Charger for 6 years, I love it. My best friend killed a mule deer with no joke a 30 year old Mathews. Our theory is if it works and gets the job done it's good enough. But whatever we killed with, is what's in the pics. The only person I've ever heard talk up the Ted Nugent ammo, is Ted Nugent. 🤷🏻‍♀️

You are spot on. I've witnessed many times a "pro staff" for say Mathews go on a hunt. They will pack 2 bows on the hunt, 1 to shoot with, and 1 to take pics with. I couldn't believe it the first time I saw it. After the first one it became a big joke with us.

Yes it is. Everytime I clicked there wasnt comments I wanna go look now. Of coarse the antis jumped on his moms posts on facebook. "I hope he gets eaten by a mountain lion" and so on and so forth. Pretty sad world we live in. Hunters help a lot of antis who get their subarus stuck in the snow but they hope we get eaten. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Will do. I spoke with some of the family and everyone is pretty overwhelmed so when things settle we will find out what happened. Me too, I know hes gonna have some scared and happy people now. I cant wait for his phone to charge up so he can text me back and we find out what the squirrel was up to.

Details are very unknown, last person he spoke to he said he was gonna go run roads and look for lion tracks. So it is hard to say. I dont think he was one to communicate his plans and stick to em. I wish I knew more or was closer to help but we just dont know much right now. It's odd for him to speak to his momma and say "I'll be home in a few hours" and then nothing. I will try and update when I get info. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers.

Looking for a bumper pull camper. Doesnt need to be fancy or huge. Just needs to keep us dry and warm. Would be awesome to find one with a working stove, fridge, and shower but if it needs a little work we understand. Looking to stay at or below $3000. I looked into that unfortunately just like everything else dealers gotta make money on desperation lol. We have also been looking into storage unit ones but before we got too involved in a dealership or what not kinda wanted to see if someone had one that their wife hated cuz it wasnt new enough or what not.
