I put 73rds through it. -7mm-08, NOS Stevens (Stevens/Savage rollmarked), 1:11.25 twist. I bought it as new old stock gunsmith take-off. Decided to stick with 65CM before serious load development, shot 53rds through it-ran moa or better with Hornady 139 American Whitetail, and 145 Speer BTSP handloads. $100/ea or $180/both -trade interest: Powder (RL26, RL17, I4350, I4895, I4831, AR-Comp), fffg BP or T7;.284 168gr Berger VLDH, 162 SST’s, .308 165 Hornady (BTSP or SST); WSR, WLR and/or WLP Primers, milsurp 308, XM193 556, 22LR, Ruger Wrangler East Valley Sportsman’s area

I need bigger balls! 😆 I picked up what I thought were a couple of boxes of .457 balls for my Ruger Old Army, but just noticed one box was .445! I know it’s a long shot, but does anyone in the east valley have .457’s they’d swap, or a need for .445 balls?

Will they shift the OTC tags to cover the season, or stick with calendar year? I think there’s gonna be a lot of out of towners on their first “western hunt” going down in the heat on velvet hunts since it’s now a race to closure. Hope they budget “rescue money” in their hunt plan-AZ charges back for rescues on folks that go out unprepared, right?
