I have watched some videos and I think it would be great I have seen the difference in oil color on the videos and it should be better. Most of what I have read about says don't go cheap on parts, but I need to find someone to do it.

Has anyone done a Duramax and what was involved and cost to do it. I really want to do it after the warranty is up.

When I was growing up we used to go hit the dairy farms for practice on pigeons before dove season, the farmer liked us for smashin lots of pigeons. When I had kids of my own they were taught early on never to touch dads pistol on the counter, but if they wanted to all they had to do was ask and I would clear the gun and they could hold it and look it over and that went for all of my guns. We would go over safety stuff, proper handling and most of all, I took the curiosity factor out of them. My kids respect firearms and love them that much more.

Out turkey hunting today (4/24) in unit 3C. Hunted off the 300 road, several side roads from the 130 road west to the 147 road (?). Binoculars inside a black hard box went missing somewhere in there, if anyone has found the I can provide a description of them. Its also hard to say exactly because the stuff was there and then not. But I don't know for sure where it happened. I would stop to call and move on. The longest I was away was 20 to 30 minutes, later in the day

They were taken out of my Ranger separate case and backpack. Chasing a call and got back and the stuff was gone to clear up confusion and I'm pissed about it.

I'm certain they were stolen as there is more missing. I have filed a police report with Navajo County Sheriff. Have fun out there just letting everyone know to watch out for your stuff.

I purchased the Vortex 20x56 when they first came out and they really aren't that good but wanted to get bigger optics that I could afford at that time. I have Swaros now and let others use these if they don't have bigger optics. My question is do any of you still run these or are you of the same opinion on the Vortex or maybe you sent them back. A Vortex rep told me to chuck them out the window on my next hunt, screw them up good enough, send them back and I would get the 18x56HD in return from Vortex. I have a thing about Karma and it seems dishonest #1 and #2 I honestly don' know if I can throw them out the window on purpose LOL and watch them do there thing and get all buggered up. What does the CWT crowd think?

All good info and also try to roost one the night before so you have an idea where there hanging out, get in there before light and call softly just before they hit the ground it can work.

I drew a goat tag for 4B and am looking for a good map (other than digital) of this unit. If anyone has a suggestion it would be much appreciated.

Thanks for all the input I do appreciate it, I will check BLM then and I do have OnX maps on my GPS so I should be good there. I just like looking at maps for a good reference to start scouting.
