Congrats on a great tag!!!
-
This was my math too. They posted the cc card update deadline on 2-23 last year, with the deadline being a week out

Nice guns
-
I sent a cow elk to Moyle and was happy with the results
-
Don’t discount single shots too. CVA makes a pretty sweet compact break action for around $250
-
I know brownells had at least the 223 in stock the other day, around $400. They are fun little guns
-
I agree with this fully . The foresight and future vision of some of those old projects has been lacking of late

What a day! Awesome!

Bad weather brought beautiful blessings! 2023!

Fantastic deer. Congrats! -
Nothing says you have to hunt with it once you get the permit. Had a buddy get a temp one after a surgery, but he healed up and had rehabbed everything by the time season came around and could use a bow again. Game and fish offers two types, both a permanent disability one and an annual. Permit valid: Does not expire unless the medical certification portion of the application indicates the person has a temporary physical disability; then the crossbow permit shall be valid for a period of one year from the date the medical certification portion of the application was signed by the healthcare provider.

Are this year's elk and deer hunt dates going to conflict now?

https://azgfd-portal-wordpress-pantheon.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/archive/AZ-Hunt-Guidelines-for-Fall-2023-through-Spring-2028-Seasons.pdf Check starting on page 7. Hunts start on a specific week of the year (ie week one, two, three) and not a specific date. -
I agree, curious if the early rifle hunt additions may counter it somewhat
-
That’s wild, wow

I process my own usually but was in the middle of a kitchen remodel this year and had no counters and no sink so no go on that. Gilbert Butchery did a great job for us on a deer and an elk. Fair prices, quick turnaround, like 5 days each time .

Free bump. This is a smoking deal for a bomb proof grinder. I wanted the 3/4hp cabelas but couldn’t swing it at the time. I bought one of these instead and said I’d buy the 3/4hp when I broke this one. 5 elk and 2 deer later it’s still chugging along great.

I have ammo for all, I’m in for two boxes for each

Congratulations!
-
Congrats!!! Very happy for you both. Great deer

2020, and the addiction started…

I love that bullet. Taken three elk for us out of a 7-08 around 3000fps. I spoke with nosler, and they said the 120 and 140 start as the same blank but the 140 is extruded more. Here’s a pic that should illustrate it. for comparison, I shot the 140gr at a coues a few years back from a 280ai around 3150fps at around 500 yards. Recovered bullet had about 70% weight retention. The thinner jacket worked well at the reduced velocity at that distance.

Rokslide had a few if you are on there
