Maine has a system in place for limited moose tags. If you are over a certain age (I think 60?) and have over a certain amount of points (25?) you get awarded a tag. That’s outside of the regular draw, and obviously still counts towards the total tags. it’s interesting to see how each state does it

I’ve had numerous discussions with friends about this. I agree and understand fully no where has it ever said cards hit the day after the update deadline, but we’ve all got used to it and assumed. Everyone I have talked to has questioned whether or not the draw will be done right as a result, and I agree the fact they are still processing meant something didn’t go exactly as planned I think it’ll break down in two camps: 1- if you drew a tag, system worked great and draw was fair 2-if no tag, then it’s all rigged and was an illegitimate draw

I’m curious what percent “applied” vs buying points, and also curious how many are first time applicants. It is crazy to see how crowded areas are

a buddy said that Is about an 80,000 increase But I could be way off. I’m not sure how they count applicants as in group tags or single tags or people just buying bonus points.
