I usually do my own but Gilbert Butchery in the valley did a great job on a deer and an elk when our kitchen was being remodeled, would highly recommend. I want to say the elk was like $150. Von Hansons makes great sausage but can be pretty pricy. There’s a local processor in Young AZ named David off Hindu Xing that does good work as well. Good luck on the hunt

100 and 300 yard group with an axis. Factory stock, Timney trigger. Some of them just flat out shoot. That being said, they are cheap guns and I could see light strikes being an issue. I find them enjoyable because being only $300, my expectations stay low and are usually exceeded. MDT just started making a chassis for them also ruger american would be an excellent choice

I’ll be the odd man out and throw in the savage axis. All I’ve messed with have been shooters

I had grabbed one from gun dog supply, the shaded pigeon trap. Was like $65 then. Had a cactus fall during a storm and crushed it. looked like this one https://www.birdbgone.com/collapsible-pigeon-trap-with-shade-35-x-16-x-8/ I would just toss seed on the ground for a few days, then put the trap on top of the seed and they would just go right in.
