I have a few that I run on rural property. I’ve had them since mid 2022 and they are still working fine. With their “free” package you get 100 low quality pictures over the internet per month. Even with the low quality pictures it is easy to tell what the critter is. I know I didn’t get the most expensive ones but maybe I did not get their “economy” model either. I think I have the Link-micro-LTE model. They run over the Verizon network. I am not sure what the lag time is between picture taken, sent and received. I dont believe its instant. When I catch myself on the cams it takes a few minutes for the picture to hit my phone.

Hunted southern 6A Friday thru Sunday. Its all razors and fifth wheels up there. No sign of birds anywhere. Did see a couple does and a few squirrels.

There's elk all over that unit. Not sure where your coming in from but if it was me, I'd hunt the northern part of the unit between the 52 and 107. I'd avoid anything east of the 107. Any forest road on the north end (220, 549, 473, ???) should get you a decent location for base camp and into the elk. Best of luck to your son.

Yep, exactly what the Hornady reloading manual says to do, shorten the case to a predetermined length when using FTX bullets. States the ogive is to long and will interfere with chambering if the case is not shortened, which also reduces case capacity.
