So. Az dog trainer
IHunt2live replied to skunked's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
If you decide to do some training on your own or would like to learn a bit check out "Gun Dog" by Wolters. Its pretty old but its a great book and what I used as a base to train my two pointers. The best though is to talk to those who have trained a few dogs, and they are good dogs, and get advice from them. But its completly understandable if you want someone else to train them, it requires a lot of time. The best thig you can do for a dog though, once they are started, is to take them out a TON. They will make mistakes but they learn and nothing bets that realy world experince. -
I knew someone would see that 5th yote. Its been fun to watch this site for almost a year now. With the yotes we were getting two coming in quit often earlier in the summer, mom/dad?, now we got the entire family. Also got to see a baby pig, red only about 6 inches tall now nearly as big as the rest of the herd. O' and check out the color on this fawn. Its not the lighting either.

Update: Found rifle Young, Az 10/23
IHunt2live replied to Couzer's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I left my bino once. My last rifle deer had me on a "almost run" to keep up with him and I set my binos down, thinking I'm going to get a shot then had to take off after them again leaving my binos behind. I didn't occur to me that I had forgoten them untill we were colecting all our gear after we feild dressed the deer. It was nearly dark so I ran back to the spot and lucky found them right before dark. I think you witnessed that cpugsie, didn't you? -
Thats a nice bear

Almost time to hit the hills!!!!
IHunt2live replied to ajohunter's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Good luck to you all who are lucky enough to be hitting the hills. To be honest I forgot that it opened this weekend and planned on scouting for mearns but I think I will have to pass this weekend so I don't make any deer hunters upset enough take some warning shots over my head. -

I also had an Arby's experince. I got sick a few months ago the day after I eat some of my javi from last year but can't blame it on the pig. I had just gotten home from visiting my brother the day before, and my nephew shared with me some nasty virus he picked up while they were in Mexico. I knew it wasn’t the pig that got me sick but it took me a while to eat pig again. I missed a couple of days of school for the first time in many year due to an illness.

That is pretty cool. I'm not sure what to think of it though. But cool none the less. If it is photoshopped, its about time someone made on like that. -

That ignorance scares me. More so that more and more people have it now a days. Some of you may know that I'm going to school right now studing Wildlife Conservation and Management and I think most people would be suprized at the dynamics of the classes. My Mammal Management course this semester has about 30 people and I would say only about 4 of us hunt. The rest are clueless on a lot of topics. We just had a necropsy lab this past week and I felt like the TA because I had my Javi done in just a few minutes and everyone else was still standing around looking at their animal wonder what to do, so I had to help them all. I think it’s great that some people want to learn but when I look at some of those people in those courses I don't want them managing our natural resources. Sorry to vent on here or if what I’m saying seems irrational. I’ve been really frustrated with school. The wildlife program is falling apart with instructors leaving, budget cuts, and the director of the school taking it in the direction of a global climate change school.
