  1. You have an excellent Room of Death

I call it my living room. All my guests are now greeted by three animals looking at them. The turkey is actually looking over the kitchen....which is probably the one that will get moved when the fiance' moves in this summer.

  2. The Spring of 2015 was a huge season for me with both a Buffalo and Goulds tag here in AZ. Lot of driving to cover both ends of the state with a 30 minute turkey hunt and a 20 day Buffalo hunt to top it off.

Thanks to Clay of Mogollon Taxidermy for another fantastic job on the mounts.

  3. If I remember correctly it was Jim Mullins that killed the albino (or at least white colored) javelina several years ago in Mexico.

I've never seen an albino but I did run across a herd down south last year that had several piebald colored pigs in it. Always fun seeing something different from the ordinary out in the field.

  4. Right on. Can't remember if I already sent you the info that I had or not but you know where to find me.

After the "Spring" Hunt was over last year I was so glad that it was a once in a lifetime tag so I wouldn't have to do that again...but now I kind of miss it! Just hope for less snow and rain than we had last year and you should be good.

  5. Same as many of the above posts, Carhartt for coues hunting. I have and use both sitka and kuiu but they will not work in most of Coues country.

Double front Carhartt are my favorite even in warm weather, that and a nice pair of gloves will work wonders.

Just bought a new pair of Mechanix gloves for this season.

  6. Carhartts for coues hunting....and they aren't broken in properly until they have their first hole or tear.

Had friends used both Kuiu and Sitka pants down south and both brands would catch and the fabric would pull out. Seen them have good success with gaitors but why add the extra layer?

I wear the same Carhartts that I've had since my first coues hunt in 2006...almost tradition at this point.
