Cool Thing Happened While Pig Hunting
GameHauler replied to KidBowHunter's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Well Troy it sounds like with each outing you are learning there is a lot more to hunting than pulling a trigger. Cool thing to get to see. Since TJHUNT2 has not been around I will say it. (Write it Down) Those are the kind of things you forget, maybe forever or something may trigger it 30 years from now. Wouldn't it be cool for your Son (or Daughter) to some day be able to read about all the cool stuff you have seen and done as you grew up. Thanks for posting Mike -
With all the researce I have been doing on this as of late I can explaine it. $$$$

Thanks Kevin for your reply. I would really like to have a 3-4 low end I was just not sure that 14 would be enough on top I would realy like to have more on top. Mike

Here is my best hunting friend ever. Len is over 70 but I do not know for sure. We have hunted together for the last 15? years. He is a great hunter and has done so well with the things that ail us older folks. Len had a heart attact coming out off a setup and his boys found him in time for him to enjoy many more years of hunting. What a TROOPER. Maybe we can get his son (TJHUNT2) to add to this. Thank You Leonard Mike GREAT Idea Amanda

???????? Dang thought it might be origianl, guess not. Shortpants??? Maybe one of the funniest topics ever here. Amanda must not have ever seen it If she did she was a great sport P.S. I saved it all to my computer Mike

Sorry, This was before your time Mike
-
Then why do you have a 6.5X20 and a 6X16 Tim?? Have you ever had a problem with to much low end power? Mike
-
I would say if you had a blood trail coming out of your unit it would not be an issue.

Ha Ha Ha !!!!!!!! I mean oh so sad Nice reply Troy

Good job Guys Sounds like 15# of GOOD breakfast sausage for the table. Mike

I took another good look at the Ziess. The problem with them is that I want at least a 16 power top end and no more than a 5 MAX lower end They have a 4.5-14 or a 6-20 Just does not fit my needs Nikon has the 5-20X44 that I think would fill my needs better. Anyone got a better idea, I am all ears. I just want to be able to make a CLEAN shot at 600yds if I HAVE to. Yes I will do a ton of practice. That is why I want it built as soon as possable Casey. And I am also looking for reloading eguipment. Thanks, Mike

Yes, it made one great tamale. Very tender.

Me thinks there is a story here

Cool, I would like to have seen that. Let me guess though. The hawk dropped it right in front of you so you could put your tag on it since it knew you did not have a snowballs chance of getting one yourself. Mike

Sorry to hear that Mark Thats why they call it Hunting. I have seen the head light thing before But I have never seen a brake light Mike

Thanks, I am trying to do a $5-600.00 deal I can do either of the above mentioned glass for $500.00 or less with Nikon monarchs and Kenton turrets but I will take another look at the Ziess Little to big of a bite right now though
-
When they are not horny any more Do a few searches and you will find a ton of topics on this Mike

Thanks Tim I think I am going to use the Kenton turrets I am looking real hard at a couple scopes on ebay right now. My Question to you guys is power choice. 4-16X42 Or 5-20X44 I think a 10 or 12 power upper end is to low and 6 maybe 5 is to high on the lower end. Getting into a 50MM just gets the cost beyound my budget unless the Burris 3-12X50 tactical may be a choice. I hunt mostly up north with more vegetation than the southern units. Thanks, Mike
