Great repleys Thanks everyone I was told they are hard to live trap??????? I did leave the hood open last night and is still open. I do not drive that truck very much decause it is diesel and cost more to drive than my old hunting truck. I like the idea of mothballs better than poision I will give that a try. Thanks, Mike -

All rightie then. I have been looking around trying to put together a lightweight, affordable pack tripod setup. I am really leaning towards this setup from Amanda. Slik Sprint Mini Tripod and Jim White panning attachment with the lightweight Slik Ball Head. The draw back I see is not having changable plates And how well will it support my Swaro spotter? I would really like to Buy from Amanda and the price of about $200.00 is good But will I be happy with this setup? Thanks, Mike

I wanted to bring this one back to the top. Being as it is a long weekend you might find some time to read it. I did not go back and reread the old posts but if they sound a little funny they were edited to remove the area where the hunts were to take place. Hope you enjoy it. Mike

As some of you know I grew up in Pennsylvania. I found a web site called Huntingpa that I go to now and then. About a month ago a thread came up that I have been following. This is one of the most heart warming stories I have read and wanted to share it with you. Pretty long (16 pages) so check it out when you have time. My Swaro is angled. I went with it because it is easier on my neck. the two draw backs are: Harder to find a object and you have to adjust the height of the tripod between Binos and Scope. I would be nice to be able to switch between Binos and Spotter and the spotter should be real close to the object you wanted a closer look at. Mike
