Troy, Be carefull, He has had time to look for Ammo I hunted an Albino Whitetail Buck for three years before I moved from PA. I wanted that buck in the worst way but he lived on a reserve and only jumped the fence once in awhile. I love Albinos for some reason. Mike

I also wanted to take a minute to thank Tanner-AZBIGHORNHUNTER and his Dad Dick for the effort in scouting and being on another hill opening morning for Linneas Hunt. The extra eyes were nice to have along Sure wish I could go and help on Baileys hunt this weekend. Good luck, Mike

BIG THANKS TO GINO (COUESnSHEEP), TROY (HUNTnCOUES), COLTON (gino's son), & MY DADDY! Well, he's not huge, but bigger than last year's bull!! I'm very happy with my 6x6 i harvested Friday afternoon. Colton spotted him earlier that day from the top of the Rim and, after taking a little walk down the wrong road, we took a long hike up the right road to the base of the Rim. Colton got us right where we needed to be. There were 6 bulls within 400 yards of us but we werent in the position to see all of them. They bugled on and off the half hour we glassed trying to find them, we knew they were right there, we just couldn't see them!! Colton bugled a few times and my bull always answered back. After hearing the bull getting closer, Gino cow called and brought him about 30 yards from us. The trees made it hard to see him, but the wind wasn't on our side that time and he high tailed it to the ridge in front of us. By this time, my heart was going pretty good! Man, I was excited!!! Once we spotted him on that hill side i put my crosshairs on him. Before anyone got their binos on him, i had already counted 6 and dropped him. I was too excited to even think twice about it! At 320 yards my bullet didnt go exactly where i wanted it to, but it sure hit him good. He didnt go anywhere! Everyone said i was too quick for them to tell how good he was, but i couldn't have cared less, i was too excited! By the time colton made his way down the Rim side and my dad, gino, troy, and i were done retelling the funny story to each other it was time to work! We got quite a bit of meat from him, but that didn't feel too good on everyones back on the 3/4 mile pack out to the quads. Thanks Guys!! But we were still in for a LONG quad ride out of there with way too much weight on only 2 quads!! haha. But we made it and i'm very happy with my bull!! Well, i had an amazing hunt this year thanks to all the guys! Definately couldn't have done it w/out you!!! Thanks again Dad, Gino, Troy, & Colton! Linnea ME & DAD! TROY,COLTON,GINO,& ME

Minox would have been great on Linnea's Hunt No one had time to put any glass on that Bull before he hit the ground Maybe I will put my Swaros up for sale and buy some Bushnells to hang around my neck just to have some Binos to look at the Game laying on the ground before I hike over to it Mike

Thanks everyone. This was a great hunt for Linnea. She really had a lot of fun and excitement on this one. We had a Bull picked out for Friday morning that turned out to be a better Bull than we thought. I stayed on this bull all week and we had him in our sights at first light at 250 yards. The problem was that the wind really screwed us up and he keep putting yardage between us before we were able to shoot. There was another gal hunting the same Bull and she was able to take him about an hour after day light. We are VERY happy for her as she put in more time on him than we did. We talked with her Thursday morning about hunting the same Bull and they were just great about it. It sure is nice to have REAL hunters out there respecting each other. Congratulations Media ? (spelling) We had another 6X6 right there with us that we tried to get on, but he put about 500 yards between us and we just did not want to take a chance at that yardage. So, wrap up the morning and go get some breakfast. We talked about our game plan and figured we would go after our back-up Bull that afternoon. I get a call about 20 minutes after trying to take a little nap saying Colton has spotted a Bull we might want to go take a look at. About two and a half hours after the call we were in the area of of the Bulls. It is so much fun when you have a hunter with so much excitement going thru them. The Bull screaming in the valley below us and then cow calling and having him come right at us, only to bust us at 30 yards, and head back up the other side to provide the opportunity, BEFORE WE CAN EVEN PUT BINOS ON HIM, HE IS ON THE GROUND We are very happy with Linnea's Bull and the GREAT hunting experience we had. Thanks Colton (you animal) Troy and Gino for making this a hunt my daughter will NEVER forget. Mike By the way, Rumer has it the Bull we were after scored about 380" with about 14 to 20 broke off

Thanks for all the replies!! Definately made some great memories this hunt! Wish you could have been there too Tom! I might have to show my dad a few things about shooting! ha! I had a lucky shot though, that's for sure! Well, he scored 309 and some change, not what i was hoping for but you just can't beat the excitement! I'm really happy with him, can't wait to get him on the wall to show up dad's bull!! Thanks again, everyone! -Linnea

Well my Garmin GPS stoped working. When I tried to power up my GPS last Friday it said (Upload Not Present) I tried to call Garmin and was told the wait time was apx. 45 minutes to talk to a real person So i figured I would just email the info and they would get back to me. It took them 5 days to get back to me And the email said please call use at the # I tried before So I turned on the speaker phone and waited 15 Minutes. The jerk I got on the line didn't know s&!t They have a $59.00 Flat rate to repair my unit. I told him that they had just replaced the unit less than a year ago and the responce to that was "90 day waranty on repairs" I told him to take their customer service and put it where only a Proctologest would find it The Bad part of all this is that there were about 250 way points on it and I have all the goodies to go with it SO I am in the market for a new GPS and would love any input you have to make a good choice. It has to be able to hook up to my lap top so I can Draw back roads and trails onto my mapping program as I drive them. Thanks, Mike

curious about safety in camping trailor
GameHauler replied to thunderbolt's topic in Optics and tripods
MORN"N The furnace is safe if it is in good working order. The burn chamber is a sealed unit which draws fresh air from outside and then discharges it back outside. the warm air you feel is from inside air being blown over the outside of the burn chamber. As long as the burn chamber is not cracked there is no way for carbon momoxide to enter the living area. Hope you can sleep better now Mike
