This topic shows the difference between CWT and some of the other forums I was pretty upset when I read the opening post and wanted to say allot more than I did but I respect this site and its members and oped out with my short comment. Some of your posts have shown me I could have been off base with what I wanted to say as you guys are right that TATAat27 asked a valid question and I am proud of how the family has responded without saying what some of us felt like saying. TATA I hope you have come to understand a little about the JR hunts and do not feel they are stealing your Tag. Please take TLH up on the offer to join the youth camps or try to go with a friend on a hunt. You will without a doubt come away from it with a new outlook NOTHING BEATS HUNTING WITH KIDS

Wondering if anyone in the Payson area has a good well. If you live up this way you probable have heard how bad the water situation is in Mesa Del thanks to Brooks utility I have not been able to water my trees all summer and lost one tree already and have two more looking real bad. I will not have any fruit this year also because of it I have a water trailer and was hoping I could get a load so I don't loss any more trees. I am hoping that maybe a load or two will hold them over until we get some good precipitation. Thanks,

I have been fortunate and have not lost one yet even with several picks of hunters. I hope I never do but know some day it will happen I have changed my plan on how I set them up and most of the time there are 1 or 2 on trails leading to the spot that are well hidden hoping to get the perp. Nobody has a good well to help me out We have a chance of rain this week. 3 days of a nice lite rain sure would be nice. Pray for us and the critters up here, they are having a tough time also. It was I believe and does by supplying ground water via the East Verde but the system does not keep up with all the pumping going on for the increased population. Everything seems to be falling into place for a pipeline from blueridge to Payson but that will take years for it to all be put in. The pipeline will run less than 100yds from my house but our small community (apx 200 homes I think) will have to build the facility to handle the water so we can utilize it. $$$$$$$$ Hardcastle, the owner of Brooks utility is a Tight A$$ piece of cow dung not willing to fill his obligation to not only Mesa Del but many Communities. They are trucking water out of Gieslea and other ares to fill our tanks and doing a very POOR job of it also We have completely ran out of water a couple time this year, BS I have had to go to my shop in town and fill water jugs to bring back to carry up on the roof to fill the swamp coolers just to not cook in near 100* temps. Last week they turned OFF water to several of the Community who were high water users and I heard on the local radio talk show they will not even reply to their phone calls. Hardcastle is no more than a piece of crap Times are tough and people wanted to plant a garden to help with food but if you get caught watering outside plants they may shut you off after a first warning. The largest user of water here owns the general store and they were reading his meter every day. He told them to stick it and could only by law come on his property once a month to read his meter Little did they know he has a Law background and loves to use it Sorry for ranting but things are BAD

Lets see Mike has spent the last umpteen years judging Coues at 50yds perched high above them while Ernesto as been making regular trips to Mexico and scouting and hunting locally using optics I assume to judge animals before going in. I like lighter colors in the Desert. I have watched many hunters threw my binos and the ones in darker colors looked Like a flag. I do not know that unit so I may be way off base for it. Good luck on your hunt
