I can not say for sure the first one is on the Tonto But things are starting to get real dry. Please try to inform anyone you know that is going camping to be VERY careful. Will do. The bipod attaches to the sling swivel stud then the sling will attach to the bipod. Very easy to do. I had to add a swivel to this forend.

All I need now is a tag What we have here is a Thompson Contender chambered in 7-30 Waters with a 24" barrel and a Pentax Pioneer scope which I bought 2 of from Doug at Cameraland at a super price. http://cameralandny1.reachlocal.net/optics...age=pentax89614 It will be upgraded later but is a great scope for the $ Total overall length is 37-1/2" A Harris short bipod and weighing in at well under 7-1/2# May also pick up another set of wood that does not shine so much while hunting. Plan on trying to use Sierra 7MM 130gr Spitzers #7250 since I have over 1000 of them but will no doubt be testing the Berger 140gr VLD and others. Now to get to the Range

Anyone in the Payson area have 1000 Rem 6-1/2 or 7-1/2 primers I have been doing my homework on the 204 Ruger and they seem to be the primer of choice. I have 900 CCI #400 which I have no problem with except they are a little harder and I was getting some misfires in my 7-30 Waters with them which is a common problem with the Contender. I am looking to trade or will buy and would take more than 1000 if you have them but do not want to mess with the hazmat fees and crap to ship. I would rather buy and hang on to my CCI for other guns but am willing to trade. Thanks

Sounds like you dang sure need new glass but are you sure that you want to do again in a couple of years? Could you step up to the pump a bit more? Or a lot and be done? You will get some input on this and you have to do what you can afford but I learned the hard way to just pay for the big S and be done with it. Good luck with your choice

Just wondering What if you could not get to the dogs for a long time. What might you expect the outcome once the lion got tired of being trapped on the ledge . This lion and dog thing has gotten my interest. There are several dog men up here and am thinking about talking to them about helping out and learning. At this point in time I have 0 interest in getting dogs but looks like it could be allot of fun. I do have a gut feeling that it may be a hard gang to get hooked up with PS. I don't really think it would be a good idea to shoot that cat where he is at. More than likely he will fall of the cliff and ruin the hide. I thought that before but it was more fun to just say SHOOT
