WTS Howa Model 1500 .223 Rem. Walnut Stock

    I'm in FL Yes
  2. Up for sale is my Vortex Viper which is a lightweight, rugged scope designed for multiple purposes. The minimum magnification is set at 4x and the maximum at 16x, which provides for versatility in use. The possibility of relatively low magnification makes it a decent scope even for shooting on the move or stalking your prey in hunting This scope is in perfect condition ready to be shipped My asking price is $370 shipped . furyssie@gmail.com 404-939-5140 Cheers!

  4. Hello all Putting this up Up for sale Is my. Howa model 1500 bolt action rifle chambered in .223 Rem. Howa has been making fine rifles for decades for companies like Smith & Wesson, Interarms, and Weatherby. Howa is now currently importing their product under their own name. The barrel length on this one is 22”. The rifle has a checkered walnut stock with studs for a sling. The barrel and action are blued. This rifle holds 6 rounds of .223 plus one in the chamber. The rifle is drilled and tapped for a scope and comes with a set of two-piece Turn in Style Leupold Bases. This is a used rifle and it has been shot some, but the bore looks good. There are some handling marks here and there on the metal and wood. There are a few small scratches on the stock as shown in the pictures. There are also couple of small spots on the barrel. There is no box or paperwork. What you see is what you get. A nice rifle with a good tight lock up. This will make a good predator rifle. It will also serve as a light recoiling deer rifle. I will do $570 shipped Do reach me via PM or furyssie@gmail.com 404-939-5140

  9. Hello all I'm new on here but not in other forums, I love hunting and stuffs, really love going out for hunting deer's especially. Well I couldn't find much on the internet, except that it seems the Mauser 83 Sport rifle seems to be an intermediate sample between the Mauser 66 and later Mauser 86. It still has the safety of the Mauser 66, but already the later conventional bolt design of the Mauser 86 and also features the detachable magazine of the Mauser 86. The stock however still is very similar to the Mauser 66, being walnut with adjustable cheek pad. It also has some unique things, such as the fluted barrel and an extremely rugged looking scope mount which features several steps to adjust eye distance properly. Anyway, can someone shed more light on the history of the Mauser 83 Sport rifles? According to the IE firing proof this rifle was proofed in 84. Full serial has 5 digits with this one having a 01xxx serial (I removed the last three digits digitally) - seems not that many were made? Were these only commercial rifles, or did they also see some governmental usage?
