    36B coueswhitetail.com shirt

There is a ton of variables and you can't try blaming being a Richard on just one thing. It is not just isolated to units with leftover tags. This is become more of a problem in other areas as well. As hunters share info and the word gets out on good areas and as less experienced hunters start to learn where the good areas are and the # of hunters increases in general, so will the competition for dibs on an area ensue. "Not such a Str8shot" is rignt!! (noticed I changed your handle? LOL) The only thing this ultimately boils down to is respect for another hunter who Richard knew was in the area and chose to Frak with his hunt. There are no 2 sides to this story. Dont park next to my truck and expect me to let you come BuckBlocking me cause it wont be pretty... Now for a big bear Hug!
  7. Usually 3 in my mag and 7 in an ammo wallet. If I am carrying my 1911 then I have two clips. If I am hunting near the border - A lot more than that....

    92 Yard Archery Muley (video)

words do not express the awesome. If you've got the KE and skill to get it done, good on ya! My personal opinion: People should place limits on themselves as opposed to placing them on others. Get out an practice some with the bow instead of practicing censorship "...People should place limits on themselves as opposed to placing them on others. " On the button.

    36B coueswhitetail.com shirt

Maybe this guy (let's just call him Richard) was given the shirt as a gift and may not be a member at all. OK I doubt it and if he is a member he should speak up. I heard the last hunt down there was tough enough without having to deal with Richards. I'm glad you were able to hold back, not sure I would have done the same.

    35A first ever coues buck

    Great Buck. Congrats!

    Should I mount it?

It is totally your personal preference as the others have said. investigate the options and how you feel about each.. and if YOU feel it is worth the money. It is possible to do the skull yourself for little out of pocket cost and a little of your own time if $ is a concern.

What do you sleep on ?

Since I got a Thermarest I will not go back to foam. I also use the thermarest when I take a cot and know it will be frigid.

    First Pair

While out scouting for muley's last weekend I finally found my first matching pair of coues sheds. I had put on quite a few foot miles in country that I thought that I would find some in and ended up spotting these just yards off a seemingly pretty well traveled trail while driving. Go figure

Great Buck! Thanks for sharing I hope it helps other hunters young and old remember to not get discouraged and to keep after it! Hey Dad...Careful with that texting and Driving eh. BBD Photos can be dangerous when viewed in motion. once I was texted one as I was on my way out of the office and walked right into the door and ended up dislocating a finger joint..

    Glassing Mule Deer

Looks like you have already gotten some great advice.
  24. WadeNAZ

    Glassing

As the shade moves late morning - afternoon so will the deer. So a deer that was bedded that you might have overlooked could easily stand up and be spotted later. I usually do move after glassing southern facing slopes after a couple hours in the morning, re-positioning or moving to glass shady areas and northern facing slopes. but dont get me wrong I have seen a lot of deer on souther facing slopes later in the day but not usually as many. Most of the deer I spot are in areas I have already glassed thoroughly at least once.
