Thanks Amanda for throwing this event! I am sorry you were unable to make it. While I was on one of the boats that got blanked it was a good time (Ok I was ready to throw my pole in the lake and cursed the wind all night). But other than that yes a great time. We got to meet a few CWT members and I think a few non members. Steve (CouesNator?)/Sam, It was Great meeting you guys! if you havent posted thos pics up here you should! Tony/Jesse, Sorry about your boat troubles but glad things worked out for you! Congrats! Wardsoutfitters (Steve right?) It was good to meet you too! I Hope to run into you again sometime (Maybe Apache ) Sorry no pics. I have to admit I had a camera but was so frustrated with not catching any, all I was thinking about was Meeting and chatting with some of the members.

You should be concerned. Search this forum for the word "stolen" and you will see what I mean. Using a trailcam virtually anywhere comes with risk of it being vandalized or more likely stolen. I would think using them anywhere down south just increases the chance. you have UDAs, Drug Runners, BP ,other security contractors, and Do-gooders on top of other hunters and outdoorsmen. The more activity, the more likely you will be to lose your stuff. If you dont mind throwing away cash then go for it. Personally I have considered it and it is an investment I am unwilling to make.

Thanks for the note on elevation. I have had great results with it in the Desert and have not had a chance to use it above 4500 Feet. I am going to have to keep this in mind when heading to the mountains.

I would think this would be fun. Never fished a Tounament. Night Fish at Roosevelt. Chose August but July might be fine too...Think My Brother and friends would be definately interested.
