The girl at the counter asked me what was in the box (original packaging) and i told her "optics". She asked "what kind of optics" and i said a scope. I told her she was crazy in more or less terms and informed her that i receive ammo and gun part shipments via-ups all the time and asked to speak to the manager. The manager comes out (a +- 25 year old soy boy that looks like he spends his nights "protesting") and asks me the same questions. I opened the box and he jumped back like it was a bomb and he started getting pretty mouthy and was treating me like i was a criminal and trying to get away with something illegal. There were several other customers in the store that were getting uneasy as well because i was a big, bad gun owner trying to assemble parts into a weapon of mass destruction. At that point i told he/she/him/her/zer/zim, whatever the f@ck they considered themselves to go f@ck themselves and walked out. Unbelievable what this world is coming to. USPS came out in support of Biden and now UPS won't ship gun parts? I guess that leaves me with Fed-Ex. I'm guessing this is a franchised store that made up this rule and not a national policy but they won't be getting any more of my business. 

    I work for UPS and I have never heard about this.

    I have a CA Mesa Long Range with load development and ballistics chart. About 100 rounds through it. I drew a tag this year and I am planning on using it just so I do not have to go out and sight in/shoot another rifle before my hunt. Possibly tossing around the idea of trading for/selling to buy a lighter rifle. It’s just under 9 lbs without the scope. Awesome shooting gun. Shoots 140gr Berger’s at 2964fps. 5 shot group at .38”. Mainly just gauging interest right now. Thx

    Head down to the outdoorsmans in Fountain Hills.    They have all the glass to look at.  Personally I found the Swaro EL's to be the clearest.    You can look through everything and decide what you want to buy.    I was out sheep hunting last fall and had the opportunity to look through 10EL's, 12EL's and 15's.   Very interesting hour of my life.    I was switching glass like crazy for the better part of an hour.   The one thing I can say is the 10's and 12's EL's are clearer but it is so very close.   The biggest difference to me was the field of view.   The 12's gave me almost the same field of view as the 10's with a 20% bump in magnification.    After looking through the 12's I was wondering how I don't go buy a pair.    The 15's field of view was much, much tighter.   The difference was massive.   I like the extra magnification of the 15's but it comes at a price.   I hear the new 12's are even better.    Haven't looked through them yet but there is a very high probability of me owning a pair in the next 6 months.
