    How's the AZGFD E-Tag app?

Likely that too. In fact now that I think about it, that is likely THE primary factor. At the same time, the evolution to E is inevitable and can/will help with the efficiencies being sought... Same as with any entity (private or public), looking for efficiencies/savings is a perpetual practice.

    How's the AZGFD E-Tag app?

Losing tags, losing lighters, having to wrap tape to 'tag' the animal with E-Tag anyway, etc...... I suspect it is likely that NONE of these nuances came into much consideration in the decision to roll this out. My guess is that it was simply in the spirit of 'modernization' in line with the evolution of the entire world going to "E". Can't stop progress (or perceived progress), guys!

    How's the AZGFD E-Tag app?

Posting, printing, handling, etc. can be a BIG cost at scale, so yes, for sure there would be savings there. My guess though, is that it is because of that, and simply AZGFD modernizing with the times. The whole world is going 'electronic', so there's that....

Can you enter draw at 9?

You should double check with AZGFD, but I'm fairly certain the answer is YES. I think the rule is that the minor child must be 10 years old to hunt, not to apply. (So if they turn 10 between applciation period and the hunt, they are good to go...)

    Accident attorney

The subrogation thing is a whole new angle. Sounds like some entity bought the rights to the claim and is now trying to get the return on their investment. (Subrogation in general, seems like a strange and interesting 'business' to be in, IMO....) A few here have mentioned that it sounds like a scam but I'm guessing it's not that, as subrogation is a real 'thing'... Assuming you've exhausted anything with your insurance company? As mentioned by some on here, my opinion is that you should DEFINITELY get them involved. At a minimum, so they have visibility to the goings-on. In answer to your initial question regarding any lawyers that know about subrogation, it looks like all you're getting here is anecdotal advise and info. Short of your insurance company taking this on (since practically speaking, THEY are the ones who are covering your liability....), maybe do some Googling to try to find an attorney that would give you 15 minutes of consult time to see what sort of ground you're standing on. Good luck!!!!

    Cold night

I think ‘cold rooms’ are pretty common with almost fireplaces/stoves. Simply a matter of the chimney drawing to evacuate the smoke. The displaced air in the house has to be filled-in somehow, so often this done via pulling outside air in through any crack available. To your point, the design of the home (whether to consider a specific way to bring-in the displaced air or not) has a great impact on it. 👍🏻😉

    Cold night

You can still use a fireplace, but there are “no burn days” declared when the air quality goes to shite. Never heard of anyone I know getting a ticket or anything…. Not even sure how it’s enforced.
  9. SWEET!! At the risk of temporarily hijacking the thread...... A pic of my oldest son's first big game animal approx. 18 or 19 years ago. Seems like yesterday (I sound like an old man saying crap like that... lol) Enjoy the special times!!

Sitting water on a full moon

Agreed on the wink emoji (Too much emoji use on my part, in general. Likely the result of years of text exchanges with my daughter… ). That being said, it IS a fact that there are studies. For sure though, the results of the studies are just that; results (not necessarily’facts’…).

Sitting water on a full moon

+1 on Woody's rain comment. My opinion is that the full moon won't impact watering habits too much. Deer get thirsty and want to drink whether the moon is full or not. They can/will hit the water at any hour of any given day. Side note: The 'full moon' impact on deer activity has been debated SO many times, it seems. Though most hunters would disagree based on their own experience and anecdotal evidence, there have been studies that show the full moon has little/no effect on deer activity during the day. Go sit that water hole with your boy!

Exactly. "Coming back to camp...." and backpacking food options are for sure, two different things. Food looks delicious though, @10Turkeys!

    Vizsla Puppies

BIG litter!!! Bump for dog lovers! Between my ex and I we have owned 7 Vizslas over the past 20 years or so (currently three between us...). Seems like a lot of folks have their breed, and for us it is definitely Vizslas! Not only great hunters, but also extraordinary family/companion dogs. Kids are grown and out of the house now, else I might be tempted to grab one as a stocking stuffer! 😍 S.

Non Res left over advice - question

Sounds right, but..... Have him try these guys: 602-942-3000. Not trying to be a smart butt, just really think he should get it right from the department as opposed to from this crowd. (No offence, folks! lol)

    Quail Numbers

Raised running-gunning quail in the washes around Kearny. There might have been a couple killed on the ground. Used my departed dad's old 20 gauge Remington semi-auto with a fixed improved cylinder. Love that little gun for the opening weekend when the quail aren't shy and the flushes are close.

    Quail Numbers

We shot easy limits of Gambels on opening weekend in our usual spot(s). Predictable given the strong precipitation last winter/spring. Like clockwork...
