Whats the deal with unit 10?

Y'all make some good points about cutting off 50% of the unit. The $100 isnt the issue. My hang up is walking into Big Bo blind. Hate to head into the area without any knowledge of the land and where the animals trend or not being able to hunt water if we get a lack of monsoons like we had last year.

Whats the deal with unit 10?

Drew an archery unit 10 tag. Heading up this weekend to scout, but I know that the west half is that big ranch with paid access. I read it only opens a week before the hunt starts. I've never hunted this unit before, but is it worth it to buy that access without being able to really learn the area? Anyone had success doing that? Or am I better off scouting my butt off this summer on the east side? Any intel would be helpful!

    Best sight for extending range

Obviously not talking about literally extending, of course it’s all practice. Specifically talking about fixed pins vs adjustable pins. Maybe a poor choice of wording on my part.
  7. I was lucky enough to draw an archery pronghorn tag this year. Fairly new to the archery scene and finally took my first animal in January this year (javelina), but have a had a few blown chances at some deer within 50 yards over the last few seasons. I’m currently running a 5 pin sight, 20-60, but with this hunt I’m anticipating the need to be comfortable at longer ranges, maybe 80 yards?, more? Is single pin the way to go? Any other sight or archery pronghorn recommendations? Thanks for the help.

    NW AZ OTC Help

Just moved up to Las Vegas for school and am able to keep my AZ residency as a student. Still planning on hunting my OTC archery tag for 2020 and again in early 2021. I grew up hunting east and southern AZ, not much in the northwest area. Anyone have any advice on units that are an easier drive from Vegas for an archery hunt? 15b, 16a, 18a/b, 10, 19a, 8??? Not looking for spots, just unit recommendations and some opportunity to put some meat in freezer! TIA
