Are you sure it's 1921manufacture? Most I've seen from that era have a curved butt plate and are not drilled for factory peep sights. Not saying it isn't so but appears newer than 1921 to me.

We found them just off 260 and Pinedale road as well (only fresh sign we found in the unit)but my 75 year old BIL just couldn't connect with them. Went back in the next morning and had 6 cows 50yds off the road that could care less we were there, only problem was they were on the west side of Pinedale Rd and not in the unit. Congratulation on your success, we planned on going back up the last week end but BIL ended up in the hospital.

Looking for a Marlin 375 or Winchester Big Bore chambered in 375 Winchester (not h&h mag ). If you have one you want to part with or know of a store that has one (not gunbroker) on the used gun rack please let me know. Thanks
-
Have dies and brass for the 375 already. Didn't know they were making a 38-55 again but isn't the bore something like .377/.378 instead of .375 which I believe caused the Marlin version to not have the best accuracy with jacketed bullets? PRDATR sending a PM. Rick

Yes, Badgers count too.

They are addictive.

Thanks, I guess I should of mentioned I was looking for a shooter model. Little pricy on that one.
-
A Ruger number 3 would also work.

Are you looking for a Contender or Encore? Your previous add stated contender and this one states encore, 2 different versions of the Thompson Center firearm. The original contender is no longer made and continues to rise in value as many of us prefer the lighter/smaller frame with adjustable trigger.

After not drawing a tag in the initial draw and having no hunts this fall I decided to put in for one of the left over tags. I was lucky enough to get a whitetail tag down on the border as my second choice. From the start my intentions were to use my custom XP-100 pistol in 6.5 CM and shoot the first buck that provided an opportunity. I shot this little guy at 1:00 PM opening day while he was feeding on a hillside at 188yds. After not hunting whitetail in over 25 years I had forgotten how small there bodies were. Not a trophy but will make some great jerky and sausage.

Coach, that's pretty much how I used to do it. After separating everything out everybody still only wanted sausage and jerky so rather than go to all the trouble of handling things twice deer and lope go straight to sausage and jerky and gone in no time. Elk, that's a different story, steaks and burger only.
