I got tag number 1 in 4A last year with 23 points.

I finaaly drew my second AZ rifle antelope tag this year with 23BP's going into the draw. I was set on holding out for a good one after waiting so long and had the entire season off. It all came together opening morning though with one shot at 350yds from my 257WM. Horns tape 17.5" so I think that'll do. Helped the future fawn crops a little as well.

Ruger M77 mark II target/varmint rifle .243 $775

I'd be interested in the scope if you separate. Rick -
Rusty's in Springerville, White Mountain Pack and Timber Mesa in Showlow-Pinetop, Turleys and Malapai in Taylor-Snowflake and Millers has his receiving cooler in Alpine. Millers is the only one I believe that would transport the meat to the valley. Congrats to the hunters, i'll be taking my dad up there next week.

Leupold Gold Ring 20 x 60mm spotting scope with case, lens covers and sunshade. Would work great as an extra spotter for the kids, range or just to look at critters when you don't want to drag the high dollar spotter along. Life time guarantee from Leupold. In Mesa, $110

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Just a little update, sadly after the 60 day drying period he did not make the book. He has tremendous length and will be an awesome mount but his prongs are lacking and his mass could of been better. His final official score is 78 2/8ths. Hopefully in 23 years when I get my next tag I can do better.

What brand is the ammo?

What kind of groups were you getting? Factory ammo or reloads? Rick
