Cabelas has the ruger American rifle, (compact version) on sale for $324.99. Or snag the 7-08 that luckysob has for sale. Great kid gun and will work on anything around these parts.

I have the same gun in 300WM. It is a tack driver and the BOSS will allow load tuning to a particular load/bullet combo as well. Nice rifle, good luck with the sale. -
