Thanks to all who participated for their generosity and support! It was a tremendous event with almost 800 VERY generous sportsman attending. Fellow CWT members: For those of you who don't know me, my name is Craig Schmitt and I am a FF/Paramedic with the Prescott Fire Dept. As most of you know, we lost all but one of of our Type 1 Interagency Hotshot Crew on 6/30/13 when they were burned over on the Yarnell Hill Fire. Tonight, all of the local conservation groups have banded together to put on a "mega banquet" to raise funds for the families of the fallen. It should be an incredible event, with over $250,000 worth of hunts, fishing trips,guns, etc. donated to the event. I would encourage all of you to make it up to Prescott Valley tonight to attend. Another poor year is my prediction. There is decent cover from last year's monsoon, but winter/spring rains were slim. What you see in town vs what is out where you can hunt are typically very different.

If you have no time to scout and only five days to hunt, you might want to pony up and hire a guide for this hunt as you have one of the most desired elk tags in the world. Might as well make the most of it.

Ruger, CZ, and POST-64 stock are SOLD!!!

I have multiple projects going, so it's time to thin the herd or buy another safe. PM me with any questions. First up is a stainless Ruger Single Six .22 LR (I don't have the .22WMR cylinder) with a 5.5" barrel. MFG in 1976 with "Made in the 200th year of American Liberty" engraved on top of the barrel. Good condition. SOLD! CZ 452 American Deluxe in 17HM2. SOLD! Pre-64 model 70 project. Includes a 1951mfg rust and problem free barreled action. Barrel is original with no rust or pitting chambered in .270 win @ 24". Includes original trigger and bottom metal. Bluing is worn throughout and a previous owner "jeweled" the bolt. I purchased a beautiful English walnut stock blank a while back while passing thru northern California and had Robert Szweda www.customstockmaker.com shape and the inlet the blank for the aforementioned action. I'm looking to trade my Swarovski ATS-65 HD spotter (20-60 eyepiece) for a similar straight bodied spotter. Scope is in excellent condition, lenses and body are perfect, includes padded neoprene cover and box + paperwork. Ideally, I'd trade straight across for a swaro STS-65 HD. I would also straight across for a swaro STS-80 (non HD) or for a STS/STM 80 HD (plus cash) Other high end straight body scopes would be considered as well.
