Emergency rooms (ERs) are not nearly as impacted by COVID as other areas of healthcare. They have very little to do with the treatment of COVID patients. A much better barometer is Intensive Care Unit (ICU) utilization, as this is where the sickest of the sick end-up being treated. Currently, Arizona ICU beds are close to 90% capacity, which is considered critical. Vast majority are COVID patients. Like most of us, I also know people in healthcare. Talk to ICU nurses and doctors, and you will likely hear stories of overtime trying in desperation to save the lives of very sick people. Not sure what 'argument' you are talking about or articles, but there is no disputing the fact that ICU's are getting overwhelmed. (Unless you think that's just made-up info. If that is the case, then not sure how to respond....)

"The cloth masks, bandanas and gaiters don't help one bit......" Where did you figure that out??? The vast majority of medical experts disagree with you. They are not saying they prevent completely, but they virtually all agree that it does help out with suppression of particles (mist, etc.) as people exhale, and hence reduces the risk of spreading to others.

I'm not personally saying you should do anything. I was simply noting what was mentioned in the link you posted. You do you, and I'll do me. 😂

Where did you get that info? What is your source??? (If true, that would clearly be a MAJOR controversy. I have not heard or seen any reporting on that, and you would think that the admin would be all over that!)

    Mask Requirements

Nice link. Nowhere does it say "don't wear masks". In fact, the last paragraph specifically says; "However, doctors say masks can be effective and should be worn by people who are already sick. That will help contain their coughs and sneezes from spreading to healthy people standing nearby." It makes the argument for wearing masks to protect others. Point being, if you are asymptomatic and don't realize you are carrying it, then wearing the mask will help reduce the risk of others becoming infected by you.

    Recommendations - Escudilla camping

It's nice country up there! If you are not pulling a big-long trailer, take a little time to explore some of the two-track roads off of the Stone Creek Rd (the road that basically encircles the mountain). You should be able to find a nice camp spot, hopefully with some privacy.
