Here are a couple from last weekend I liked. Jay -
I think all of these hunting situations have their place and mostly go to the persons preference and skill behind the gun or the bow. If you are dedicated to practice and taking shots that you feel comfortable with than more power to you, as said before crap happens. Crap happens at 10 yards and crap happens at 600 yards. The thing that drives me crazy the most is hunters being overcome by competition and throwing lead. I know all of you have seen it on those late rifle bull hunts, and really any hunt. Guys knowing that someone else is seeing that critter and making irresposible choices because of it, many times disregarding ethics but more importantly safety. My point is I truly believe that that competition brings out the worst in some people making them take those shots they really shouldnt.

Cibola Juniors Waterfowl Hunt
WOODSAZ replied to bowsniper's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Nice! Waterfowl hunting is addictive but also pretty dang frustrating in this state. It breaks my poor dog's heart everytime I leave in camo for a deer or elk hunt. She thinks is duck time. Great job! Jay -

Nice Christian! Like you said having your Dad with definatley made up for a bigger buck. Things like that make for a much more memorable hunt! Love the video too! Jay -
Man that thing is SWEET! I cant stop looking at that beast. Jay

Yeah Id say you were a little high during that hunt this year. Its really hit or miss on that hunt but we got that snow a good week before season. It was just deep enough to cover the available browse and seemed to have pushed them off once the hunt began. We checked out one of our spots that consistantly holds elk at about 8500-9000 ft and there was no recent sign at all. That said on dryer years all bets are off. Ive found sheds at close to 10000 ft. It really depends on what feed is available. my two cents Jay

Ron G and I took our daughters on a pig hunt a few years ago. We were loading our packs in the morning and had to laugh at all the Barbies, coloring books and toys we were shoving in our packs. I know Maty would dig one of those though! Jay
