  11. Thanks Marshall for putting on a great banquet. The wife and I had a really good time. The food was awesome and kudos to all those who helped to make this a fun night for all. You sure couldn't tell this was your first banquet. From the signing in to the last raffle it went as smooth as any I've been to. Great job to all and I look forward to the next one. TJ

2 cams stolen does any one know this set up?

Sorry to hear you lost a cam. The thieves in my area are using cordless grinders and can cut thru any lock or cable so a stronger box means nothing to them. Good luck with your next setup. TJ
  15. There is no doubt you have worked extra hard at putting this banquet together Marshall. The wife and I are looking forward to meeting everyone and having a good time tomorrow. TJ
  16. Thank you for posting all the information here on cwt. I'm forever thankful for the division sharing this info and all the work you guys do. I for one appreciate all the department does. There has been a lot of negative press lately but that doesn't out weigh all the good your department does for our hunters and fisherman of our state. Thank You ! TJ

2 cams stolen does any one know this set up?

I can attest to the fact that 22 is notorious for this. About a half dozen of my friends and I have been victims in the last several years along the rim country. Well, it finally happened that one of my friends caught someone red handed stealing his stuff. The thief had his blind, feeder, 2 cameras, chairs, and other items tied down on his quad. The thief had his wife and his very young son, maybe 3yrs old, along with him to help. He actually drove his quad right to the spot even though there wasn't a trail or road. Long story short the thief untied all the gear and laid it on the ground and drove off. My friend recognized him as a delivery driver and son of an owner of a well known construction company out of the Payson area. Charges have been made thru the forest service and sheriff's offices. This individual also admitted he has been stealing hunter's equipment for years. I assume he is responsible for all my stuff as well. When my friend gives me the OK I will post his picture here and posters will be hung in the Payson area. TJ

    This sounds familiar

Just nailed what my problem has been all these years. Now Peg has something really to complain about. Good thing she doesn't wear sweaters. lol
  19. Pixman, thanks for posting up some pictures. I like the one with all the muleys looking up the hill. Must be a big coues ready to chase them away. Did you ever get any cameras out where you have the hybrids? Never get tired of seeing them. Thanks for sharing. TJ

Who is getting ready for August???

Good pics James. I spent last Thursday visiting my salt spots and replenishing. All my cameras got stolen or had the sd cards removed. It's killing me to not put them out at this time so I'm waiting for the forest service to close all trails with further restrictions and hope it keeps the thieves out. Then I will hike in and hang mind. Good luck to everyone this Aug. TJ

    Now the waiting game

You are pulling our leg......right? TJ
  23. I knew I wouldn't draw either of these units with the 20% max draw so I opted for a higher % area but how I wish I had a chance. I've seen many sheep in these units but haven't a clue how to judge these rams like Jay just explained. It takes experience and I'm impressed with the work Colburn and Scott Outfitters put in to their outfitters business. They truly do their homework and with their photos and videos they have shared here on cwt I'm convinces 100%. Thanks for all the information you have shared with us and for being a sponsor here on cwt. TJ

    Now the waiting game

Just talked to a good friend of mine, whose sister-in-law works for azgfd, and he informed me she told him they were already ahead of getting out the results in record time this year. His sistet-in-law works with those responsible for getting this done on time. Everyone should be looking here for results starting in a couple weeks. TJ
