That looks pretty good Shelvin. Happy cinco to all. Peg and I had lunch at Garcias on Gilbert & University. After just one beer I lost my mind and Peg a I went shopping for 5th wheels. Now I'm the proud owner of two 5th wheels. What the heck was I thinking? Looks like I'm going to need another Coueswhitetail sticker. TJ

Congratulations Tommy on a beautiful bird. That Mark sure is a nice guy. I hope if I ever draw he's still nice enough to help me out. lol Good luck with the NM turkey hunt. Can't wait to hear more of your stories. Great write-up by the way. TJ

I hope my memory isn't starting to fade a little. I've been waiting for the second hunt to start this friday and got a call yesterday from my Dad that our hunt actually started last friday on the 26th. Holy crap, and I'm working. Cutting the work day short today and running up after work and hopefully get to hunt before dark and tomorrow before it ends. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. TJ

You bet it does in my book. We need more people like Ilene and Roger getting out there and helping our wildlife. Thanks for all you two do in helping out our wildlife here in AZ. TJ -
I see no reason why Sam couldn't buy you at least one of these guns owned by Annie. Can't wait to see it after it's in your hands Deb. Congratulations! lol TJ

Now that is what I call one excited young hunter. I know older hunters that still haven't connected on an archery turkey. The first picture is awesome and priceless to say the least. My congratulations to your son Cole and kudos to you and your wife for getting Cole interested in our sport. TJ

Awesome pic of you and Roger. Sounds like something Peg and I would liked to have done. If only we had a side by side. I'm sure it was a blast and for a good cause as well. TJ -
That's just to funny Mike. I'll pass on the compliment to Peggy.

I decided to volunteer this year on the Youth Turkey Hunt and sure was impressed with every aspect of it. It was as well organized as anything I've ever attended and the work that goes into putting something like this together is amazing. My hats off to the Az Elk Society, Turky foundation, and the Phoenix Varmit Callers. Sorry if I left anyone out. All kids along with their parents all seemed to be having a great time and with the help of all the mentors and azgfd most either got to see turkeys or heard them. Not sure exactly how many were shot but quite a few. Putting something of this size together couldn't be possible without the help of all the volunteers and I applaud each and everyone of you. When I was told I had to get up at 2:30am to be in the kitchen by 3am I thought they were kidding. lol If you've never been to one of these camps I encourage you to do so. Sign up your kids or volunteer as a mentor or part of the camp staff. I promise you will never regret it. Not the best but here are a few pictures.

I really enjoyed reading that write-up this morning. Kudos to you for working so hard getting the kids in position to catch those bass. I'm sure when they grow up they will return the favor Dad. This is what it's all about and the fishing Gods will reward you a thousand times over. I know now when I see you have posted it's going to be a good read with lots of pictures. Thanks a bunch for sharing. TJ
