Thanks for sharing. We had a tent like that when I was growing up. Looks like they had a great day. Do you still have the rifle your Dad used? TJ

Congratulations Casey on your buck. Sounds to me like you had a fun hunt with a few friends and that's what it's all about right there. Sharing your success and thanking those who helped shows your character Casey. TJ -
First coues with a muzzleloader

I just love seeing families hunting together on here. Congratulations on your buck with the smoke stick. Not only does this site get you pumped up but it's stories like yours that keep us feeling the same way believe me. Thanks for being apart of this great site Amanda has put together. Good luck to your son on trying to close the deal. TJ -
I'ld say you had a good day. What type of camera was you using to take them pictures? You haven't been taking lessons from our own Doug (redrabbit) have you? Them were awesome pictures and just had to be a real treat to see it in person. There are some who won't believe there are hybrids but I have shot a couple and I'm on your band wagon for sure. Thanks a bunch for sharing your honey hole. TJ

"Score", did you say score? Whatever number you come up with put a + next to it. What a beautiful animal. Congratulations! Awesome to say the least. TJ -
Sounds exactly what I have done but many years ago. I now turn all mine in to sausage I make myself and only wish I could get more meat off one of those pigs. If someone close to me in Mesa shoots one and cares for it properly and gets it on ice right away I will be more than happy to take it off your hands. It's all in the way you care for your meat once it's on the ground. Lots of good advise in this post. TJ TJ, Would like to know what type of sausage you make and see some of your recipes for javi sausage - do you use commercial mixes or your own spice blend? I have used both but lately I have stayed with commercial mixes. Regular sausage mix is good but I prefer hot italian sausage mix. I've bought my last 2 packages from Van Hanson's in Chandler. I debone all the meat and whatever weight I come up with I add that same amount of pork. We use either pork butt or pork loin, whichever is on sale. Then package it in 1lb bags. If it's not hot enough then just add more red peppers. Two more days and hopefully it will be sausage making time for me. TJ

+1 Do tell!!! We had a really good time and Peg thought the dogs did great. For whatever reason I can't load any picture on here of the hunt. I hit browse, then click the picture, but when I hit "attach this file" it says I have not selected any file. All my other pictures will load but not these. HELP please! TJ One reason might be if you are selecting a shortcut to the photo rather than the actual photo file. Make sure you are selecting the actual file. Other reason might be they are too large? max file size on a photo is 2MB, so check the size. If larger than 2 MB, you have to resize them. And you can resize using something simple like microsoft paint which comes with most windows computers. Call me if you need help with this. Thanks Amanda! My neighbor figured it out for me. Our friend who took the pictures copied them to a disk and we copied that to our computer but we can't access pictures from computer because of the type a disk we used. So she has to redo to a flash drive. Now I'm totally confused but I'll post some whenever I get them redone.

jk Holy Cow! That was some piece of art work you handed me there. I was understanding everything quite well until I got to the end and forgot what the beginning said. Don't know if I can fit all that great advise in my head at one time. I think I hear Mrs. Santa stirring around and it's about time she got up cause I can't wait to try some of this stuff on her. Thanks Coach! SunDevil.....now I like your kind of thinking and will let Peg read your reply.
