Wanting to buy a photo converter

That was when I was looking like a mountainman for sure. Had that beard for years before cleaning up my act and going to work for the city. Lexie says bark bark to Sadie. How is Sadie by the way? TJ

    Walk-In Cooler

I built one in my back yard and will try and find some pictures tomorrow. I have had every az big game specie hanging in it and wished I had kept track of the critters that has gone thru it. I had a lot of help from friends and could not have done it without their help. Just a plane block building on a concrete pad with a lot of insulation. I'll give details later. Just got home from work and need to unwind with a couple brews. TJ

    Outdoor Experience 4 All

Thank you both for all you and Kathi do. I'm hoping we can fill at least two tables of cwt members or even three. How great would that be? This banquet is alot of fun so if you've never been to a banquet before this is the one for you. Casual dress and hopefully we all will wear our cwt t-shirts. TJ

    Draw results?

Yes, but they usually come out a few weeks early. I'm surprised no one is talking about their twice removed brother in-laws cousin who works at G&F said the draw results will post on ?????????????????. LOL. Ya I was kinda being a smart #$%. But ya I know no inside info yet its hard to believe Just got off the phone with my x wife's brother who just happens to be the one who has the final say as when the results will be available to the public. I have my results but was told keep quiet until the lines were up and running. I'm a happy camper and hope all of you are as lucky. Dam it's good to have contact with the other side of the world. I know the exact day you all will know but promised to keep quiet. TJ

    Cooking with Guy Fieri

Just wanterd to share with everyone that a coueswhitetail hat made it on Guy Fieri's web page. Just go to his tour show dates and bring up Mesa, Az concert pictures. He is one of Peg's and I's favorite cooking show guys. After forgetting our anniversay last yeat I had to step up to the plate and give my best hit to please her. It was an awesome show. Here is our picture at the book signing that took us over an hour and a half of standing in line. Check out the hat that Bill Quimby designed.

Bill, if I didn't already have a pair I would be jumping on these. These won't last long at this price. Great optics and a great price. TJ

    Horseshoe 2 Fire

Not sure how I missed this one. So sorry to hear of your loss. It will be hard for all your family and friends who have enjoyed this beautiful cabin through these days I'm sure. Although we've never met, I would like to be on the list of those who would be willing to help with the clean up or whatever it may be. Thoughts and prayers for your family during this hard time. TJ
  15. My heart bleeds for ya. So sad to have your cabin go like that. Thoughts and prayers for your loss. Will you rebuild? TJ

Wanting to buy a photo converter

Wanting to buy a photo converter

Tranparencies=slides, like the thingies you have to put in a projector to look at. If your photos are indeed just prints, any flatbed scanner will do the job. And so for the next ?? -- what the heck is a photo converter??? EDIT: Never mind, I just did a google search and found them. They are nothing more than scanners. While they offer the photo scans, they don't give you the flexibilty to scan documents, etc. that a flatbed will. Thanks Tony for your help. It looks like I'm going down to Best Buy and see what they got that I can handle with this old fasion brain of mine. Appreciate all the help from everyone. Maybe I'll share some pics before the day is done. TJ

Wanting to buy a photo converter

Thanks Amanda, we might have had this conversation before. Yea, you might be right but it just popped up in my head again. Things come around every once in a while when the old thinker gets spinning. Thanks for the help but I would still like to hear from someone who has used a photo converter if any. TJ

Wanting to buy a photo converter

But...but...you didn't answer this: "First off, are you talking prints or transparencies?" Heck Tony, I don't even know what transparencies means and if old photos are called prints then the answer is prints. This is not easy for me believe me. TJ

Wanting to buy a photo converter

Thanks Tony. I thought the converter sounded like a pretty easy way of putting pictures on a SD and then to the computer. I'm not to sharp on this computer stuff. We had a scanner once but the wife threw it out. I just think we didn't know how to use it. I will look in to a scanner/adapter setup and their prices. I doubt I have anything that would be of publishing quality. Just wanted to get some of the old hunt/fish pictures out of the box before they deteriorate completely. TJ

Pics from this past month and a half

Thanks for sharing. I like the bear colors. It would make for a great looking rug. Good luck with the lion. TJ
  24. I ordered a crosman2104X air rifle thru Dick's Sporting Goods, and received a 2100 air rifle. I have been on the computer for hours to see what the difference, if any, is. I found where they quit making the 2100 years ago. I also found an article that said the 2104X was an augmented version of the 2100. Yes, I had to look up augmented and it said it was an upgraded version but can't find anything different. Can't call anyone from Crosman due to the weekend. Is anyone familar with crosman air rifles? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I'm just wondering whether to keep this gun since the price wasn't much. Thanks! TJ
