Thanks for the report. I was supposed to be there Monday but couldn't make it due to a number of reasons. Makes me want to call in sick and get there before this next front rolls in. Sounds like you guys had a great time. TJ

I stayed up most of the night when this was going on and was at aww. These people and all those involved with rescue have been in our prayers and glad to see this post. TJ

Thank YOU! My last safari was in 2007. It was my 22nd trip to that continent, and the magic still was there, even with the stress those long flights put on my aged body. Bill Quimby Bill, I just can't phantom that. 22 trips has got to be a record in itself. Is there another book in the makings? Probably should be! I hope the magic will always be there for you. Only in my dreams! TJ

Some how I can smell and taste this right thru the computer. I'm married to an excellent cook and when she gets back from San Diego I will show her this to try. It looks so good. These are some of my favorite post. Thanks Hector. God I love food and it shows. TJ

Yes I think this could have been handled much better. I have a great respect for azgf but I also had a bad experience many years ago. My Dad, brother, and I shot three cow elk in an area that was going to take some major backpacking to get all the elk meat out. The first pack trip we had more meat than tags hanging in camp and they wanted to give tickets. We argued and I was about to go to fist city and knew I was going to jail but not before a fight. I asked where should the tag be here in camp or on the remainder of the meat in the field? I also asked the game warden to meet us here in the morning and follow us in the field and see for himself. It all turned out and thank God because I wasn't going to take no sh!t before a fight. That game warden and I are good friends to this day. TJ

I had the same exact scenario a few years ago. My biggest buck to be at 20yrds and it dropped with the release of my arrow with blood everywhere on the snow. It dragged itself up the hill and beddeed down. I could have put a few more arrows in him but I knew he was mine. I went to the truck and waited 2 hours. When I arrived I found my buck had got up and was gone. I tracked for a mile in the snow and the blood stopped. I will aim lower next time and thanks for sharing that with us. It's heartbreaking but that's archery hunting. There is an area above the vitals and below the spine that they call no man's land. TJ

Not sure what time Killmers in Globe opens up. Here is their number to call to see what time 928-425-0700. Unless there is somewhere in the valley that opens up that early, I don't know. You might try to find some minnows the night before and put an aerator and some ice in them to keep them alive. Good luck. Are you headed to San Carlos.? Brian That is the plan for now. Thanks for the information Brian. TJ

I have a ton of old 35mm photos that I would like to put on my computer but haven't a clue where to start. Those who know me know my computer skills are the worst and I'm lucky I can post a few pictures and e-mail. It really is that bad. What are some of the ways of getting 35mm pics on to my computer. I know they have scanners and I'm told they have something now that you just drop your picture in and it puts it on a disc. Some of you are probably lauging but that's my computer mentality. Please share some of your ideas which one I should buy without breaking the bank. TJ

I just love looking at old photos from that far back. Someday I will get a scanner and post a few of my own. Thanks for sharing your family pictures with us. Awesome!

That was some good footage and good judgement on your wife's part. Knowing your limitation is one thing but sticking with it is another when a bull like that is out there. Great job of holding back. My max is 30yrds and only on a broadside no wind situation. Thanks for sharing. TJ
