Jeremy, you're right on. I just measured one of my mounts and it was 16&1/2". TJ

I have never shot at a shoot in my life. I'm not that good but I've shot quite a few critters over the years. I think I just might jump in there since it sounds like so much fun. I'll keep an eye on this one and hopefully it falls on my weekend off. TJ

Lauire, Click on the FORUM located to the left of members just under the Coueswhitetail.com heading. That will bring up topics and scroll down to Miscellaneous items related to coues deer and click on it. Then you will find it next to the second pinned topic. Hope you find it and I was of some help. Looks like it was a cold one but rewarding that the boat ran good and the kids had a blast even not catching fish. Thanks for sharing. TJ

Thank you Amanda for clearing that up. That is exactly what I meant. I apologied on itd2004's post for not being more clear with my reply and should not have replied on his post with my opinion. I see now how it must have sounded and I regret my reply but with that said I still feel a portion of sales would be appreciated and not everyone should feel obligated to donate with due respect of their financial situation. Please except my apologies. TJ

i just lost my job, my wife spends money like its goin outta style, and my bird dog has terminal cancer. my grandpa bought this truck off the lot back in 72 and gave it to me the day before he died....and to quote my favorite george strait song, "if you'll buy that, i got some ocean front property in Arizona"..... Truth be told just lookin to sell a badass truck. i believe people should donate some cash to the website. its the best website out there for arizona sportsman and amanda does a great job with it. but i do believe 10% and even 5% is too steep. i believe whatever the seller can afford should suffice and I am sure Amanda would be happy with any donation. What next, $1 per post on the forum??? Bownut.....I agree with your reply. I sometimes don't say exactly what I'm thinking. My apologies to itd2004. I should have started a new topic instead of replying my opinion on itd2004's classified. I was only thinking of helping Amanda out and didn't realize I might have been putting someone on the spot. itd2004.....I can't say I'm sorry enough but it has already been said and I regret replying with my comments. I meant well but after reading I know how you must feel. I didn't mean to put you on the spot and you're right when you say Amanda would appreciate whatever anyone, if they could afford, would like to donate. I take full responsibility for my comments and do regret. TJ

Find a good water hole in turkey country and lots of tracks. The only thing is it attracts alot of people traffic and a camera might not be safe. Turkeys have a habit of following the same pattern most days so look for tracks on dusty areas along roads and trails. Then look at the direction they are traveling and follow that direction for signs of scratches among oak or berries. Good luck! TJ

My hat is off to you young lady. Great picture and way to close the deal Mady. TJ ps.....I love it!

Please except my apologies if I came across sounding I doubted your honesty. I just ment to say it sounded to good to believe with due respect. I read nothing else at all into it. Your making someones Christmas early. Someone needs to buy these at this price. TJ
-
I might be a little out of line here but I would like to see anyone who sells anything on this site thru the classified adds give Amanda 10% of the sales. When the price is up around $6000 it would be $600 so that might be a little steep for some folks. Ok, so why not 5% after it reaches a certain amount? Any ideas and opinions from others? I'm sure Amanda would appreciate it but I know she wouldn't think of asking for one dime of a sale because that's the kind of person she is. Just My Opinion! TJ

If indeed these are in mint condition these won't last long. The cheap price has me concerned but if you ever thought of getting a pair you better not blink or they will be gone. TJ

Let me see: because it's close, know the area like your back yard, no travel expense, found some easier spots to hunt, you live there, you know the game patterns, ect. Am I getting close Whale? I love 22N and I have so many fond memories I don't want to hunt another area no matter if there are more bigger bulls elsewhere. TJ

I'm definitely worried this year for sure about the draw. I have a ritual I go thru every year with the same hat, my dog goes with me, and the guy I always hand my envelopes to, on the last day, before dropping into the canister went home sick before I got there. I had to substitute a woman in his place and the streak may finally have come to an end. Good luck to everyone on their draw. TJ

I have done a few for friends and for myself but I boiled them and know the hard work that goes in to doing a good job. There is more work to this than meets the eye. Cole's work looks superb and much superior to anything I've done. Thanks for sharing. TJ

That's the least I could do. If I get the 5th wheel cover sold there will be another 10%. I thank you for all you do for us. TJ

I talked with game&fish at length about Steve's situation and he explain it very clear that all game belongs to game&fish dead or alive. He informed me I was only allowed to pick up sheds that aren't attached to a skull. I don't totally agree with it but that's what was said to me. I was so happy to hear Steve got his antlers back. TJ

Welcome to the site Geno(aka gbocarbo). Thanks for sharing your 2007 bull with us and that was a good idea to put that orange on the antlers in that country. Lark is right when he says you better have your blood level up. I've been hunting 22N elk for 20plus years now and I have left alot of blood on them mountains, being my own that is, and it definitely can be rough for sure. Welcome again and enjoy the best hunting site in AZ. TJ

Thanks for sharing the snow. Great looking country where you live. TJ

Gee thanks Angie, now it looks like I have to go buy another computer when she reads this. TJ
