New CouesWhitetail.com Tshirts - like 'em?
tjhunt2 replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Man, I really love that rendering of Grong's buck that Rembrant did. No matter what, I will eventually be getting some kind of shirt with that deer on it. I love it!! Wish we could get that one on a design everyone liked. Amanda I have to agree with you on Grong's buck. It definately has to be on whatever design you choose. It looks awesome. TJ -
New CouesWhitetail.com Tshirts - like 'em?
tjhunt2 replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
I like the t-shirts you have now over any of these. Sorry, you probably didn't want to hear that but you asked. IMO I have been meaning to ask you Amanda for some time now and this post made me remember. Have you ever thought about a dress shirt with a collar? Just thought they would be a little more formal at some of the banquets. Just a thought. TJ -
I bought an annual permit last year but refuse to pay their price this year if they actually went up another $50. Did the daily permits go up as well? I really like fishing San Carlos but they might have just reached my limit that I will pay. Sad that they have to be so money hungry. TJ The daily permits are still the same price and are for 24 hours from the time you buy them. The annuals are getting expensive but for me, as much as I go year round, the annual price still saves me quite a bit of money. As for the fishing I was there thursday and as the saying goes should have been the day before. It was slow for everyone. Got blowed off the lake at 1 pm. The day before people said the bite was better with everyone catching some fish but no huge numbers, most were in the low teens. Brian Thanks for the update Brian. I'm sure glad to hear the daily permit hasn't changed. Can't wait to get on the water. TJ

That really was a neat video to watch. Them dogs were really in to it. Thanks Amanda. I just picked up a new lab puppie and can't wait to start training her. TJ

It's funny you ask, I was picking up the originals just after you passed me a while ago on Mesa Dr., at least I think it was you, license plate said your name on it and I think it was a dark colored chevy? The replicas were for 2 different bulls and done for the hunters so they could keep the original skull to hold and show off and mount the replicas on the actual mount. I was given a set from each bull to mount up as well which is awesome!!! Yes that was me and if I had known that was you I would have gone back and introduced myself. I was on my way to work. Small world! TJ

Welcome and thanks for the sponsorship. Your work looks great and it sounds like you have a bunch of happy customers. I hope this brings you alot of business. TJ -
Jim, it would be neat just to ride around and show off like you really did find them and watch the expression on their faces. What exactly are you going to do with the replicas if I may ask? TJ

I use to get excited if I just found an old coues whitie once in a while. Your the man!. Awesome for sure! TJ

This archery range is actually in Chandler. Thought I would clear that up. I saw a list of activities and classes that you can sign up for but I don't have them with me to post. I'll update if I can find them from my work web page after returning to work from my days off. TJ

Thanks for the update on San Carlos. My Dad and I were on Saguro Lake today and we only boated one fish and Pa caught it so it made my day. Here he is with his proud 13" bass. Of course he kept it. That was his super tonight. Dad's 13"bass he had for super tonight. TJ

Great job Doug. TJ -
She sure was a beautifull dog and her life with you and Paul certainly shows how happy she was being in your lives. That was a beautifull memorial you did for her and I know she will be missed dearly. The love and smiles she put on your faces for 15 years will ever be etched in your memory forever. You and Paul gave her a great life and thanks for sharing a part of her with us. Peg and I send our deepest condolences. TJ

Hope this day is a great one for you on your Birthday. TJ

Ok Doug, I'm not the brightest thing when it comes to this computer but I at least thought I could bring up your pictures. WRONG! After three days I give up. What am I doing wrong? I click on one of the pictures and that is as far as I can get. No other pictures of that album comes up for me. I bet it's something so simple and everyone is going to laugh but that's OK I really want to view your photos and it's driving me crazy. TJ

Ernesto C, that was a great write up and a good story. Thanks for sharing. Congratulations to your daughter Ana on her pig and that was nice of Javier to let Ana shoot first. What a gentleman Javier is and I'm glad he scored on his pig as well. That had to be a great feeling having your wife there and son as well. That's what hunting should be all about. Family hunting together. Now that's sweet! TJ

How old does a kid have to be to go shed hunting? ;)

Congratulations on your new addition to the family. I would give Logan about 6 months to start training with antler in hand and when he starts walking he's ready to follow behind but keep the back pack small for a few years. Great looking family and thanks for sharing with your cwt family. TJ
