I used an old bushnell spotting scope for years and found an eye patch and removing your glasses are the key to glassing for long periods of time. Eye patches can be bought at any drug store. TJ

What weird stuff have you glassed or happen well glassing for game?

I once watched a bear get in a bee nest and watched as he rolled down the hill pawing his face. It was pretty funny! Then there was the time two girls decided to skinny dip in the same cove I was sitting on during an archery deer hunt in 3Bar Wildlife Area. Last week while scouting for my archery hunt I came across a 3 legged bull elk and never thought about a camera until it was to late. His back leg was missing but he seemed in good health and sporting a very nice rack. There have been many more stories but better left for around the camp fire. TJ -
Wow, that is one of the biggest I've seen. Congratulations and thanks for sharing the video. TJ

Hi Kathi, you and Mark's wedding was the best. I assume he has to work to pay for that long shooter. Peg and I look forward to seeing you Thursday night. As Roy and Dale use to sing, "until we meet again". TJ -
Waking up this morning and sitting down with a cup of coffee, it was a great way to start the day off by logging on to my favorite web site and watching that long range video. Showing the rough, remote, and beauty of the Navajo land along with the music was really thought out. It was a fine piece of work that I really enjoyed watching. Congratulations to the hunter and everyone involved with putting that video together. Thanks for sharing coues7. TJ

Peg and I thank you Amanda and look forward to the night. TJ -
The one in my avatar might be my biggest. I have some I've never measured. I don't believe any have made it over 90". I can't seem to get by the first deer I see. Always have been pretty much a meat hunter. There are some awesome bucks on here and congratulations to all of you. TJ

While scouting last Sunday and Monday I ran across a three legged bull. He looked to be in good condition with his right back leg missing above the knee. He was having a little trouble getting thru the brush. I didn't think to get his picture while I was trying to figure out why he was having a little trouble walking. I am going to try and keep an eye on this bull if I can and hope to get some video. Yes, they are tough animals. TJ
