I just got back from Sportsmans and would like to thank all the ones who came out and bought items in support of Amanda. I now can put some faces with the members I met and it was my pleasure to have met you today. Here are a couple of pictures to share with those who couldn't make it by. TJ

Yes, a crossbow is allowed on an archery hunt as long as you have a crossbow permit. I actually had one last year and took a deer, turkey, elk, and a javelina this Jan with it. I had rotator cup surgery and wasn't able to pull my bow and G&F issued me a permit after my doctor fill out the nessessary paper work of being disable 90% in one arm. You would have not known I was disabled by looking at me so it's possible the guy you saw was legal to do so as well. Hope this is some help towards your question on crossbows. TJ

Casey, if it took three shots then you're doing it all wrong. You get close enough for the snake to want to strike at you and just after you pi$$ him off you fire a shot near his head and he will strike the bullet which in turn kills the snake with one shot. It has worked for me everytime. TJ

I big congratulations to Brock on his antelope and a nice one at that. He's got to be pretty tough to get out there and go though all that with a broken arm and still pull off a successful hunt. My hats off to you young man and your Dad. Now go get that elk and be sure and keep us updated on your hunt. TJ

I have to agree with ya on this one. I have already got my ground blind and tree stand in place for my upcoming elk hunt. I prefer the tree stand untill I get tired or cold and then climb down to the ground blind for a nap. I know it's early to be putting them in place but only a few of my old huntin partners know where they are located. Each one has their own advantages and disadvantages. TJ

Thanks for posting this phone # Gino. I just got a call from my hunting partner that he has arrowed another nice buck a couple hours ago. He tracked it after 45min. and it ran 100yds and he could hear it gurglling. He backed out. I'm waiting to hear from him as I write this. I might be leaving work and driving to Payson tonight to help him track it. Just in case he finds it and Ron is full does anyone know Noah's #? TJ
