    Gas Out

That sounds good Mike so let's all fill up on the 14th and put $2,292,000,000.00 in their pocket a day earlier. Don't get you feathers all fluffed, I'm only kidding. I'm in!

I understand but the girl needs some attention. I updated my profile, I hope you're not offended. I might be a flatlander to most of you but I got RIMCOUNTRY BLOOD in me.

    Whats In A Name

First of all, thanks Mike for turning me on to CWT. Since the beginning of time, back in Ohio, my Grandpa and Dad drug me thru the woods right after I started walking, hunting rabbits, groundhogs, & squirrels. It is all I ever wanted to do and my nick name at work is TJ. I have always wanted people to know that I hunt to. Soooooooooooo it's "tjhunt2" Mike, you have forgotten to show everyone what really makes you the "Gamehauler"

    My 2006 Summer

Younghunter, your pictures are great. I have wanted to go to Alaska my whole live and now my wife has decided the money is for our Hawaii trip in June. OK, yes I am the BOSS but I'm letting her have her way just this once. Keep the pictures coming.

    Favorite part of hunting?

You hit it right on the nail, me to. Dad's 77 and every moment sitting on a hill side with him is another memory.

    LOOK WHAT I FOUND!

Them are some of the best pictures I've seen of rattlers. I have had some really spooky incounters with these. This is the time of year I spook at every little thing that looks or sounds like one. If you're out and hear a scream, it's just me when another grasshooper flies up from my feet.
  7. Mike, that's a great picture and when I look at that picture my lungs begin to burn all over again. What a climb that was for this fat boy.
  8. Milke, thanks for finishing the story. I tried to keep it short. There's no doubt that it will happen to you with the amount of time you spend out there. I just hope I'm there when it goes down.
  9. While archery hunting deer north of Payson a few years ago. It was labor day, around 7a.m., sitting in my double bull blind when two cats approached my water hole. I drew back as they walked by but I couldn't release because they were side by side and a pass thru would have hit both. Also, 35yrds was farther than anything I had ever killed and was out of my comfort zone. No camera, and who was going to believe this was running thru my mind as they drank. I had made up my mind I wouldn't attempt a shot. Then the cats turned and headed right towards my blind. They were there before I had a chance to pull my bow back. They circled the side I had brushed-up with no windows open. I opened a window and the only thing seperating me from the cats were a few sticks and brush. It startled me so bad I dropped the window and the lions continued on around behind me. That is when I got up out of my chair and opened the back flap. There, standing 8 yrds away looking in at me, was I dreaming? With one motion I drew as I knelt on one knee and released. I shook so bad and my mind was in fast forward. I don't remember aiming. Had I missed? Was it a bad hit? Were both lions waiting on me? I was a reck! After 20 minutes I climbed out and saw some blood. I drove back to camp and returned with my father to find the cat 75yrds away.

  12. That's one of my favorite shots you have taken. You have gotten real good at this the past couple of years. I can't wait for you to start teaching me with my new cam-trail. YOU ARE, RIGHT?

    New issue

This is a subject I was hoping would not surface for some time. I for one have enjoyed the use of putting out salt and bait, not only for the sake of hunting but believe the salt benefits the animals year long during the off season. Yes, I do believe as hunters, we need to stick together no matter what choice of weapon we prefer to hunt with. As someone said yearlier, once we loose it we can kiss it goodbye. Now that this subject has been mentioned we as hunters must monitor this more closely. The joy and excitement of watching wildlife coming in to one of my honey holes has brought me more pleasre than any animal shot and I don't want to loose this either.

    Any one know 22 south

Thank you for the warm welcome. Gamehauler turned me on to this site. He must have told you about my application mistake. I was disappointed for the guys on my application, since it was my fault, but also was greatfull with the 22S archery bull tag since so many others never drew. I've never hunted it before and know I have my home work cut out for me. Thanks for asking for some info on my behalf. I greatly appreciate that. I was so surprised that someone would do that for another hunter especially one you've never met. While I'm at it I would like to commend you on the article you wrote on your friend Jason. That was a very nice thing to do. tjhunt2!
