    Hunting's Next Perversion

I don't know how I missed this one but I was asked if I had read Larks post here on Tony's thread and I said no. Let me make it clear that I'm not here to defend Tony's thread, yes he could have used another word besides perversion, but I am here to defend him as a friend. Lark, I have always liked reading your posts. You certainly have a way with words that make for some amusing and interesing stories without a doubt. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say you were missed and it's good to see ya back. I don't know nor do I care what happened between the two of you that would prompt the name calling but I would not think looser, moron, lame butt, punk, water packer, con artist or the phony Tony that was used 6 times in your post has a place on a family discussion forum especially here on cwt. Like I said earlier I'm not here to defend Tony's thread but to defend the man that brought me alot of enjoyment thru the many stories and articles I read over the years after moving here from Ohio in the early 70's. I actually lived out some of his adventures in my mind as I read his writings. I can't imagine that much hate in a person Lark. Tony isn't any of them things and he has brought and shared alot of information to this site as you have as well. You both have been great assests to coueswhitetail and I am glad to have known you both thru your many post and look froward to many more. Let's leave the name calling for the kids. , I talked with Tony after I read this and I can assure you he meant no harm and surely didn't post this to start a fight or make anyone mad. Yes, Tony and his lovely wife Ellen are friends of mine and I have his back just like I would for any of my other friends. TJ
  2. Thanks for sharing Jay. Peg and I was just talking yesterday and was wondering if you were still over there. You're absolutely right about the sacrifices our troops made that day and their families. We certainly are a blessed nation thanks to the sacrifices all our men and women have made to keep it this way. Thank you to our service men and women for all you do. TJ

    Dogs and quads

Unbelievable!!! You must have had a 3 man crew working the whole time. That came out awesome and I'm sure your dog is going to enjoy them quad rides. It would have taken me a couple days at the least. Thanks for thinking of the comfort and safety of your dog. Happy trails to you and your dog. We need to know the name of your dog now that we are all family. lol TJ

San Tan Chapter MDF 2014 Banquet

If anyone wants to have a good time this is the banquet to attend. Like Marshall said, last year there were 100 and hopefully they can raise that number up. For those who have never attended a wildlife banquet I can assure you these little, but as important, banquets are way more fun than the bigger ones of hundreds of people. Your chances of winning great prices are way better and there is usually more food than you can eat. Not only will you have a great time but I'm sure you will feel good about yourself in knowing your money went to help out our wildlife here in az. I know we have a lot of cwt members from the Gilbert/Chandler and surrounding areas and I hope to see many of you again and hopefully meet more cwt members and their families at the June 28th banquet. See ya there, TJ

    Dogs and quads

I made this out of plywood, reinforced the corners with metal brackets and 2x4s along the bottom. The box holds her quite well on rough roads. She will spend hours on the quad in camp and she is not spoiled. TJ

    Archery HQ is hiring

If I was already retired I would jump on this. For those who are looking for a great place to work I highly recommend Archery Head Quarters. The people are great and they definitely have served the hunters and shooters with the most up respect and knowledge that an archery shop could ever serve our sport. My hats off to Randy and staff. Randy, that was me who waved at you a couple weeks ago in Globe as the wife and I headed to the Antler Fest. You were pulling in to Dairy Queen. Keep up the good work with Archery Head Quarters. TJ

    Arizona Chapter of SCI Banquet

I have never figured out how to get pictures off my phone to the computer but I did get a few shots with my camera Kathi. I didn't get any pictures at the banquet but Amanda got some with her phone I'm sure she will post when she has time. Here are a few from before the banquet. Loews Ventana Canyon Resort was a beautiful place to have a banquet. The second picture is from our room. Kathi, Mark, and Peggy enjoying the pool We spent all day in the pool before the banquet Roger, Ilene, and Amanda enjoying pool time. Our pre banquet party started quite early. Margarita bar before we trashed it Saturday night after the banquet.
